It's been a year and a half that you and your daughter has last seen Kou. To be honest it's been quite peaceful without him around and your finally happy. You managed to go out with some friends and met a new man, who's sweet and it seems like your daughter approves as well.
You was cleaning the house, making sure it was cleaned before your boyfriend comes. Your daughter came and chuckled "mom you don't have to make the place spotless at least make it look decent".
You smiled "I know hun but you know how I am, when someone comes over I have to make sure the house is spotless clean. It's a habit"
Your daughter smiled and decided to help you out since it'll be faster, after an hour of cleaning there was a knock on the door. Your heart pounded against your chest as excitement filled your body.

You pinched the bridge of your nose, taking a deep breath "Kou, I highly suggest you go before my boyfriend comes over"

A smirk appeared on your face as you shrugged your shoulders "she got a point"
Kou's chest tighten, pain and hurt was eating him alive "I-I see..I'm sorry again I'll be going now"
"Good, byeee" your daughter gave a fake smile, waving at her father before closing the door in his face. You laughed softly and kissed her forehead.
After 30 minutes your boyfriend came, for the rest of the day you, him, and your daughter spend time together..like a real family.
