Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons~Something Different

Chapter Eleven

Merida stomped through the woods. She decided to leave Angus behind. Since he had to endure a near heart-attack from the presence of Toothless, and then having to ride in the rain...she figured he deserved a day off.

But she knew she was going to be late. She she did her best to quicken her pace.

"Wonder if that Viking kid thought of a solution for our situation?" She thought. "Cause I got nothin'."

She thought of how her parents would react if they found out she aquatinted a Viking. Would they disown her as their daughter? She knew one thing for sure she couldn't tell them anything.

It felt wrong to hide the fact that somewhere vikings were hiding on their land waiting for the perfect opportunity to raid her kingdom. But after meeting Hiccup, she knew couldn't rat out on his people.

She still couldn't figure him out. He seemed so....alien. Even for a Viking. What kind of person chooses to let their enemy go free! She knew for certain the minute she found out he was a Viking she mwould have killed him if she had the chance. So why didn't he?

It was too much for her war-like mind to comprehend. Nevertheless, she kept walking.

Until she bumped into someone and landed on top of them.

"Watch where yer goin.." She started to yell, when she looked up. "Hiccup?!" She gasped as she looked down at the Viking she just trampled.

"Uh, hey your highness." Hiccup said.

She glared at him for greeting her so formal.

"Your highness?" Said a voice.

Merida looked up to see a white haired boy standing next to Rapunzel.

Hiccup tilted his head back meeting Jack's gaze. "Jack,meet Princess Merida."

He lifted his head back to Merida. "Princess Merida, Jack."

"Princess huh." Jack said with a smirk. "And what might you be, the Princess of absurd hair? Cause you obviously deserved that title."

Merida grew hot. How dare he insult her like that!

She stood up,

carelessly walking over Hiccup. The poor Viking let out a small groan of pain while Merida walked up to Jack.

"Excuse me?!" She said rather sternly.

"Problem, Frizz?" He said.

She got into his face and glared. "What ye call me?!"

He lifted her hair revealing her ear and shouted "FRIZZ!" Right into it.

Merida furiously shoved him. She looked at Rapunzel. "Who does this bozo think he is?!"

Hiccup who was know standing although a little hunched over due to the fact that she literally crushed him, started to say. "Well you see Jack is a...."

"A guardian." Rapunzel sighed.

They began to explain to her all they knew. But Merida didn't like the sound of it. If she accepted this fate, then that means she would have to trust this so-called Guardian. Truthfully it had nothing to do with being untrustworthy(he didn't do anything to prove otherwise) it was just that he was annoying. He didn't deserve trust, the only thing he deserved was a good punch in the nose.

"Rapunzel, Hiccup can I speak with ye.." She glanced at Jack. "Alone."

Jack lifted up his hands "Fine by me if you want to have a 'girl-chat'."

Hiccup narrowed his eyes at him. "Hey!" He complained.

Merida ignored whatever Hiccup's thoughts were, and dragged him and Rapunzel until jack was out of earshot.

Merida started off on a positive note.

"I don't trust him!" She said with her arms crossed. "I say we leave now!"

"Is this because he made fun of your hair?" Rapunzel asked.

"No!" She lied. "We don't no any thing about him! For all we know, he could be trying to kidnap us!"

"Why would he kidnap us?" Hiccup asked.

Merida looked at him as if he was stupid. "Uh, me and Rapunzel are both Princesses and your future chief of Berk! Think, Dragon-Boy!"

"But why kidnap all three of us?" Rapunzel asked. "So he could rule all of our Kingdoms?"

Merida paused, realizing that she did have a point. How could one boy rule three seperate kingdoms by himself?

"Are you saying you trust him?" Merida asked.

"Well not fully...but I don't distrust him either."

She glanced at Hiccup. "What about you?"

"Well I trust Toothless, and Toothless trusts Rapunzel. So yeah, I'm with her."

"But what if he proves different?" She asked

"Then we just let Toothless take care of him." Rapunzel answered. She was surprised to hear that from her.

Merida thought over this for a moment. These were her friends....her only friends. She was sure she could trust their judgement.

She let out a sigh. "Okay I'll do it...but first let me talk with him."

Her friends could see that this wasn't a time to resist her wishes so they let her go.

"All right, be nice." Rapunzel said.

Merida stomped towards him. "Nice,nice,nice." She mumbled under her breath.

She looked at Jack dead in the eye and said,"Okay here's the deal...betray us...and I will thong you! Your insides will be out your outsides will be in! You think you know pain! I will show you real pain! You will beg for something as sweet as pain! Understood?!"

Jack just smiled at her as if he found her little threat to be quite amusing.

He turned his gaze at the two onlookers who were obviously not surprised. "I think she starting to warm up to me." He said.

Yay! They all met!! It only took eleven chapters. Oh well. Btw when I said "thong" up there I wasn't referring to the skimpy undergarment, I meant the old English word meaning to slash or whip. And guess where I learned that? The movie A Knights Tale. Lol. And people say movies don't teach you anything.
