[Trying something new here, just imagine this is one of Johnny's diary entries. Might make this concept a thing? What do you think?]

Me and my friends run on fumes, thats what I heard one of the adults saying when Dally got called into the principals office once and me and Pony were stuck waiting outside. That was a little while ago, you know, when Dally actually used to show up at school. What she said stuck with me though, I think about that a lot.
Dally...he's done everything. I'm not saying its all good, because Dal can be real brutal - they've got a whole file on him down at the station. You should read some of the things he's been in for, actually its better when he talks about it in person. Sometimes, I wish I could be like Dallas but I don't reckon I'd last too long in jail.
Speaking of Dal, he lectured me real good today cause I almost got hauled in for letting one of the neighbourhood kids borrow a lighter. I let him have a cigarette too. Oops. Its not that bad really. In my defense, I didn't really remember that it was even illegal - everyone smokes around here! I mean, I've been smoking since I was like nine.
I got let off easy though, about the whole cigarette incident - probably because that was the only time I'd ever been in police trouble. Dallas and Two-bit though, they're always getting into something and I don't hear no one lecturing them.
I think out of all my friends I'm probably the most law abiding but it seems like I'm getting lectured the most. Like, how Steve lectured me about girls after what happened with Sylvia. It wasn't my fault she started talking to me like that. I reckon they all think they need to look out for me.
I ain't no kid.
