I was lying in bed, reading. I flipped a page, but someone took the book out of my hands. I really hate it when people mess with my books. I don't like it when people touch my things without permission, but my sister, Caramel, does it all the time and it's annoying.

"Give me back my book, Caramel." I demanded with my voice on the brink of rising.

"Then come help us with the prank." Caramel negotiated. Caramel always loved pranks and would always prank our parents. She got grounded a lot because of it, so she never really got out. Neither did I, though. I always kept to myself, or was reading a book.

"I'm not going to help you with the prank. You know sergeant Taylor is going to punish you, right? I'm no part of it." I said. I'm also very stubborn, like my sister. Even though weren't related by blood, we are very much like sisters.

"Yes! But he won't punish us if you were involved! I mean, it's obvious he has a crush on you! Please?" She begged.

I shook my head. "No! And he's like forty years old! What makes you think that I would do anything to keep him off your backs? Your prank, your mess, got it?" I told her as I looked her in the eye, making sure she understands.

"Fine!" She huffed as she crossed her arms and stomped towards her friends. I really don't like her friends. They are all trouble-makers, like my sister, but they are also bullies to other people and huge sluts. I wish Caramel can see that they aren't good friends, but she'll never listen to me.

I'm in military training along with my sister, but it's very complicated to learn and requires multi-tasking to no end if you want to live. First, you have to identify the monster and then know which weapon to kill it with. Although, there are some monsters that no one can kill or identify. Those are for the professionals. So far, there are only four people in the group for professionals. Well, as far as I know.

I watch Caramel and her friends whisper to each other as they went out of their rooms to pull off the prank. It was close to midnight and we aren't supposed to leave the room, and if you do, you'll go through extreme punishment. And they are never nice.

I sat reading and waited for Caramel and her friends to come back punished, or successful. But they never came. I became anxious and started to worry. Maybe they got lost? Fat chance. The longer time passed, the stronger my curiosity got a hold on me.

I finally set my book down and left the room only in my blue tank-top and baggy, blue-and-white striped night pants. My black hair was in a high pony-tail. I peeked into the hallway and then all the lights turned off. Darkness was seeping into every corner and it was as if light vanished from the world. Silence also filled the empty halls. Where did all the guards go? There was normally two guards walking up and down each hall. But they are gone. Like the light.

Then a blaring siren went off and red light danced on the walls. Teenagers my age looked out of their rooms and ran down the hall in panic.

"Run!"

"They're coming to kill us!"

"We're all going to die!"

What? The halls became crowded and I looked down the hall to see nothing but kids. Then I saw two cyclops walking behind the running kids. They were about nine feet tall with only one eye instead of two. They had on no shirt, but had on brown, ripped, skirts? They were also bald. Kinda reminds me of middle-aged cross-dressers. They were picking up kids by their heads while they scratched at them and kicked to let them go, but they were too strong. They then slammed them into the white walls and blood sprayed everywhere, coloring the white walls a crimson red while it slowly trickled down.

I need to find my sister before I'm leaving, and if I go with the other kids, I'll most likely die. I decided to shut the door quietly, shutting out their screams. I then ran to my bed and crawled under it, waiting for the screams and stomping to end.

I was breathing heavily and waited for the noise to stop. And it did. The noise just...stopped into thin air. The screams and stomping stopped, but the sirens still kept blaring, making my ears ringing from the loud noise.

I poked my head out from under my bed and looked around. I breathed a sigh of relief. Coast clear.

I scooted out from under the bed by using my elbows. I got up on my two feet and the silence was deafening since there was screaming and stomping a minute ago. But it just vanished into thin air.

I looked into the hallway and it was filled with dead bodies and blood was on the floor. So much that I could take a bath. The walls were covered with blood, but the odd thing was, it was all dry blood and the bodies were rotting. Flies were flying around the bodies that were pale white with flesh dangling from their bones. And the smell was horrid. It smelled like rotten garbage.

I stepped around the bodies to go down the hall. As far as I remember, Caramel was going to do a prank on Sergeant Taylor and he is at the end of the hall. I continued down the hall slowly and quietly. I then reached his door and swing the door open.

I gasped at what I found behind the door. I couldn't believe it.
