Hey dear readers! Sorry that the last chapter cut off suddenly. I've been hai ing trouble with publishing and whenever I edit the story and publish it, it never publishes. So here's the rest.
Chapter 7 part 2-
"Hi! Want some candy?" He asked as he shoved jellybeans in my mouth. "I love candy! Candy! Your hair is black! Not many people have black hair anymore! Can you cook? Make me some meat! No wait! I'm a vegetarian! Make candy!"
I hid behind Drake. "Save me!" I pleaded.
He pushed me in front if him before replying, "Nope. I am not your body guard. You're on your own."
"Candy! Who wants candy?" He rambled on. He started shoving candy into Carries mouth who just stepped back in surprise. His next victim, Nate, just smiled and tried to eat it all. However, when he tried to approach Drake, who glared at him with a dark aura, he made the smart choice and decided that he should skip him and go to Alan. But once he set his eyes on him, he just stepped back and headed towards me. That's when I made a dash towards Drake.
"Help me and I'll do anything you want!" I bargained.
Drake hummed as he was thinking. "That's hard to pass, so I'll say yes."
"Really? You'll help me!" I said with a mixture of surprise and hope.
"Funny. I don't know if you noticed yet princess, but I don't help unless it benefits me, so don't get your hopes up again when you ask for help, got it?"
"Ok!" I said, relieved that I can get away from this psycho who goes by the name Kingsweller.
"And don't tell anyone I helped you or you'll regret. Understood?" He threatened.
I gulped and nodded. Drake can sure be scary when he wants to be. I swear that the day I see his face crack a smile will be the day the world ends.
"Kingsweller! We don't have all day, so answer my question." Kingsweller looked at Drake and gave him all of his attention. "What can you tell her about herself and Bethany?" Drake asked darkly, as if it was a very important secret. And maybe it was because apparently all of these pricks in this room won't tell me!
"Bethany? As in the demon named Bethany?" Kingsweller all of a sudden grew serious.
Drake nodded and that's when he told us what he knew. I finally got some of my answers.
