Flash-back~
It was my first time meeting Caramel. I was ten while she was nine. Her hair was short and she bounded over to me with a bounce in her step.
"You're my new sister!" She yelled in excitement. She then squeezed me into a hug. I felt extremely uncomfortable to be hugged.
"U-um...can you let go?" I asked timidly.
"But we are sisters! And sisters always stick together and protect each other!" She released her hug and jutted out her pinkie.
"Let's make a promise to always be sisters!" Sisters? I like the sound of that. I wrapped my pinkie around hers and agreed. Sisters forever.
Flash-back end~
In horror, my eyes widen and my hand dropped from the doorknob. In the dark room, I saw something that I never thought possible.
I saw Caramel hovered over one of her friends, eating. I saw a pool of blood surrounding them. Caramel stopped and slowly turned around. She was no longer human.
Her skin was pale white like a corpse with black blotches everywhere. Her eyes had no white in them and was pure black. She then roared at me and it sounded like a lion, but high pitched. She then crawled to me on all fours. I've never seen anything like it before. What happened to her?
I slammed the door shut and kept a hold on the doorknob so she can't escape. I felt a strong strength slam into the door, making it vibrate. My hold on it loosened and I redid my grip. I felt her slam into the door again, stronger. Is she gaining strength?
I let go and ran down the hall. I stopped when I noticed that the dead bodies were already just bones. How did they decay so fast?! I heard the door bang and looked behind me to see Caramel on the wall with the door on the floor, shattered. She looked up at me with her eyes wide and wild. She then darted towards me while crawling on all fours.
I started running down the halls, which was hard because there was so many skeletons in the way. I rounded the corner with Caramel chasing me, and she was getting closer with every second.
What is going on here? I rounded another corner and saw the exit. The big, medal doors that led to the outside world. I ran without looking back. If I look back, I'll slow down. She is already fast and nipping at my heels with me getting a head start.
Right before I reached the door, I felt hands grip my ankle and pull me. I slammed onto the ground on my chin an gained a bruise there. Caramel started pulling me with super strength. I clawed the ground, trying to escape. I turned half of my body and looked at her and lifted my leg to kick her in the face. When I kicked her, it did nothing. She just kept pulling me. And I just kept kicking her over and over again.
Then fire just all of a sudden appeared on her and she let go before squirming around and shrieking in pain. I stood up frantically, but she then latched on to me again and yanked me down. She digged her claws into my ankle and a burning sensation shot through me. She crawled on top of me and I felt the fire on her burn my skin.
She was hovering over me and tempted to bite me, but I kept her from doing so by pushing her chest. She kept nipping at me until I pushed her to the side. I leaned over and army crawled away from her. I grew tired and just gave up. There was no way I could escape in my condition.
"You are so troublesome." I heard a deep voice complain.
What? "Who...who are you?" I croaked.
"I'm your knight and shining armor coming to save you." He said sarcastically.
I targeted the voice and looked behind me to see a man with black hair and blue eyes. He was very handsome. He had a dark-green cloak with the hood down and peered down on me with interest.
"Now," He said as he walked to me, "It's your turn to do me a favor." He crouched down and lifted my face to meet his. He analyzed me face before nodding, satisfied.
"Not bad. You'll do."
"What?" I asked. My vision started becoming blurry and eventually, I was blacking out.
"I've been looking for you for a long time." I saw his blurry self stand up, still looking down at me. "Now you owe me your life."
I collapsed to the side and felt extremely weak. My hands were burned from avoiding Caramels bite attacks, my ankles hurt from Caramel dragging me everywhere, and my chin hurts from falling to the floor. I felt like I just gone through war. And I hope to never experience such horror again. Then everything was black and I was in a peaceful sleep.
