The next morning, Normani woke up with a slight headache, not sure if it was the climate change, jet lag or the fact that she had got back to the hotel close to one in the morning after having dinner with Jin and spending time with who she found out to be one of his closest childhood friends. Looking through her luggage revealed that she had not remembered to pack any pain relievers. She had also missed the breakfast hour at the hotel and would need to head to a restaurant if she needed to get something to eat. She was now starved and the time indicated that it was eleven thirty in the morning. Normani poured over the brochures that had been handed and explained to her at check in, searching for a restaurant with anything in particular she would like to have for breakfast. Seeing the description of a restaurant nearby that seemed to have meal options that could work for brunch, she makes her way to the bathroom to get ready for the day. Jin had mentioned coming to pick her up to do a few things together that day, but hadn't specified the time.

Sorting through the clothes she had brought with her, decides to wear a simple dress with short white heels and fashion her hair into a simple chignon, leaving a few strands of hair to frame her face, apply light pinkish red lipstick to match the pink hue of the floral print on the white short sleeved dress selected. Selecting a white purse and earrings to add to the outfit. Feeling pleased with the end result upon taking a final glance at her reflection in the mirror, sets off to call for a cab to get to the restaurant. Just as she prepares to place the call, Jin's number comes up on her screen. After the initial greeting exchange, he asks if she had received his earlier message asking what she had felt like eating for breakfast so he could get it ready for her. Having just checked her phone when trying to call for the cab, Normani answers in the negative. He then lets her know he had been waiting in her hotel guest lounge area for some time to hear from her and if she would like to start the day with an authentic Korean breakfast, to which Normani quickly agreed, she felt like she could consume a horse at present.

As Normani made her way towards the lounge area, Jin once again became entranced by her effortless natural beauty and glow. She had this elegant walk that made her appear like she was gliding towards her destination, showcasing her tantalizing curves. With each step, she managed to capture the attention of people around her, Jin noted it was mostly men that gave her a second admiring glance each time. Maybe it was because he had yet to give her something that signaled that she was off the market, but the attention seemed to make him both proud and jealous of other men's reaction towards her. He stood to walk and meet her half way, gathered her into an embrace, placing a small kiss on her forehead while staring down her most recent male admirer. The man observing the exchange's initial appreciative smile towards her crumbled, fading away from his face, to Jin's great satisfaction. After expressing his now routine compliment and receiving his own from her, they make their way to his car that had been parked close to the hotel entrance by the valet. From the stares and smiles from strangers they receive, it quickly becomes obvious what a strikingly gorgeous couple they make.

The drive to the restaurant Jin had decided on was pretty short, it had a more of a mom and pop restaurant feel to it. Jin could always be guaranteed the best tasting breakfast and lunch at this place, even though there was only two at most three menu options at most for each meal served. It does not seem too busy as ajumma walks to get their order. It had been a few weeks since Jin had stopped by to eat a meal at the restaurant, so she asked how he had been since the last visit. She then turns to stare at Normani and then looks back to Jin saying, "yeppun yeoja," then asks him who the pretty lady he was with was. Jin smiles and lets her know that she is actually his soon to be anae. She smiles and congratulates him on the upcoming wedding and says she's proud that he didn't let society dictate whom he could and could not marry or have a relationship with. Ajumma was very progressive in her thinking, which she had claimed was the reason she divorced her husband after two years of marriage and raised her daughter with support from her mother.
