AN - Whew, I just gotta update. I'm BUSHED. Advanced statistics is freaking HARD. Try 3 days straight of 7 am to 7pm lectures of it. INSANE!

Anyway, this update was supposed to be part of chapter 15 but I didn't finish it on time. Oh well. Forgive me if I lost track of time in my book. I'm still seeing probabilities, mean, median and mode every where.

This is a teensy update.

Unknown POV

"So as you can see, our school has a very diverse population." The principal was walking ahead of me. It was thirty minutes to first lunch break and I could see the teenagers inside the classroom growing restless by the minute. "These are the facilities we have-"

I blocked out the rest and just tailed after him, letting my mind wander. Sometimes I'm like this after my accident almost two decades ago. The scar on my head is barely visibile but if I touch it, I could feel the small ridges reminding me that I almost died after that. Waking up after six months, I found myself at the care of a passing vessel bound for Europe without any memory of who I was. The people who rescued me also said my pockets were empty so basically, I had no identification at all. I was given refugee status upon landing in Ireland.

Upon landing, I was immediately called the black haired stranger. I guess my hair wasn't that common in Ireland. My injuries however took the better of me and my six foot frame supported sagging skin, indicative of severe weight loss.

Still, I was thankful that the people who found me was kind enough to help me recover. Even without identity, they gave me a life. It was awkward at first not knowing your own name and even your own age. I had to have the help of a doctor to determine my age and he declared that I was probably somewhere in my late thirties. And thus began my second life.

"-And here we are, ooh we are just in time. Mrs. Bostly our school cafeteria chef makes the most delicious meat casserole." Principal Bostwick murmured excitedly, knocking me back to my senses. I saw myself inside a large cafeteria filled with dozens of tables. The aging principal had already left me by the doorway as he sped towards the queue, hands at ready to receive a large tray filled with food from a pudgy woman at the counter.

The cafeteria was being swept clean by a janitor and for some reason, my feet carried me towards the center. "Wait!" I dashed in time as the janitor was about to sweep an object into his dustpan. It was a small plastic container that was curiously still full of brown liquid inside. I was carefully inspecting it only to notice the weird look from the janitor. I must have looked silly looking at trash. "Oh, mind if I take this off your hands?" I didn't wait for the janitor's consent as I carefully pocketed the plastic container in my pocket.

*BURP*

"My, that was embarrassing." The principal was now walking towards me. One hand patting his large belly and another trying to clean off his beard. "Still delicious as ever. Wish I could marry the woman." I tried not to roll my eyes at the principal and the pudgy cafeteria lady beaming at the counter. "So that concludes our tour. I am so happy that you'll handle our biology classes. We have had a lot of applicants but you so far are our best applicant."

Of course I already finished my doctorate in animal biology and I was contemplating a double masters in botany. After waking up without memory, I worked hard to make some meaning out of life even if I was in a foreign country. Ireland had its many perks but sadly it couldn't fill the whole in my soul. I kept trying to find out who I was.

Thankfully, the passenger ship, a large cruise ship, gave me their records on where they found me. It was near USA so my best bet was this country. And this town beckoned to me. After persuading my companion, I managed to find a job and a place to live at the same time.

Exchanging a couple more of pleasantries with the principal, I turned to leave and saw someone waiting for me outside the cafeteria doors. Curiously he was sniffing something by the door. I gave a small cough and he jumped in surprise.

"Cac!" The man in front of me cursed in gaelic. His brown golden hair swayed wildly as he spun to face me. Green eyes focused in mock anger.

"What were you doing?" I asked him curiously.

"Nothing." He snorted and I  kept on staring. "Okay fine, I was just smelling something weird here." He pointed towards somewhere by the door. "I can't put my finger on it, but I felt like I smelled this before." He scrubbed his nose and scrunched his eyes in concentration. "No more like I smelled this on someone I met recently. I'm not sure."

"Tobias, we still have to unpack." I reminded him that we just came into town. Tobias grinned and lumbered towards me. He was a big and hairy man and quite handsome enough. Placing a hand on my shoulder, he pinned me a little bit intimately by his side. I'm not going to lie, I know I'm gay and Tobias and I have a 'friends with benefits' status. There were times we got close to a relationship but we weren't meant to be. It still feels like something out there is pulling me.

"Hey-" I felt a gentle shake from Tobias. "Where'd you go?"

"Nothing..." I could have learned to love this man. I could just forget trying to find out who I was, after all, I did forget who I was. However, something was tugging my heart. After years of preparation, I'm finally here.

Tobias' hand tightened on my shoulder. "What ever happens here just know me and my family will back you up. You're not just a Muintir but you're like a Clann to us don't forget that." Muintir was extended family or close friend in Gaelic. Clann was a family member. It always warmed my heart ot know that I have someone in my new life.

Even though this was what my heart wanted, I somehow knew that tough times will be in front of me. Even the family elders felt that much which is why they sent Tobias with me. We do seem to match with head scars.

I allowed myself to be herded into a black sedan and I settled comfortably on the front seat as I allowed jetlag to kick in. Tobias had already gone here a day earlier than me so he already got this car from somewhere. "Tobs, where did you go yesterday?" I remembered that he was almost late in picking me up.

"Nothing, I just went out to the forrest here to you know." He gestured vaguely with his strong chin.

"I hope you didn't eat a camper." I murmured at him drowsily.

"Ugh," His voice was laden with disgust. I knew he doesn't even eat meat that much.

"I didn't meet any humans." There was a pause. "I just met a werewolf."

Yes, I knew what Tobias was. And if he's real, werewolves would be too. Somehow, I felt scared and excited to meet one. Deep inside, I was hoping to meet a particular werewolf. I just knew it.

AN - Yay another character. I love introducing characters. However he's an older guy so I couldn't exactly make him giddy or something.

Dedication for the next chapter goes to the person who first comments on who this guy is!

Chapter dedication goes to Cookie Morretti. WELCOME BACK! Yay I get to read her stories again!

PS - Jack Reynor as Tobias. He was so adorable in Transformers and I guess I got stuck thinking of Tobias that way.

~Bentobear out to writer a looooooooooong assignment for Statistics.
