You stared at the huge luggage that laid on top of your bed, a prideful grin crept onto your face as you were able to cram all of your stuff into one suitcase. "Okay, I think I'm all set." You said to no one in particular, however, you nearly jumped out of your own skin when you heard your Mom's voice.

"All set for what?" She asked as she let herself in through the opened door that you forgot to close. "Damn it." You muttered under your breath, "Why do I always forget to close that stupid door?"

"(Y/n), where are you going?" Your Mom questioned with her eyes glued on the overstuffed luggage. You sighed as you turned to face her, avoiding eye contact. Your mouth opened but no words came out as you struggled to come up with an excuse, it's not like you can tell her the truth.

"I asked you a question (Y/n)." She stated. After a few seconds you finally gave her eye contact, though you wish you hadn't. Her brows furrowed as the corners of her mouth pointed down, it was the look she gives whenever you did something wrong. Yup, she knows.

"Great, now I'm definitely screwed." You inwardly think to yourself. Before either one of you can say anything the phone started ringing. "Wait here." She instructed before racing downstairs to answer the phone. A loud frustrating sigh escapes your lips as you slapped your forehead while muttering a few curse words.

A few minutes later she returned, her facial expression softened as she explained who was on the other line. "I just got off the phone with someone by the name of Mr. Prower." She said. You looked at her shocked. "Did you say Prower?" You asked, unsure if you heard her correctly. "Yes, that's what I said. Anyways, he called to remind you of a two week school trip to the cabins." She said with a smile. "Why didn't you tell me that you had a school trip? Do they need a parent volunteer? Did you pack everything you need?" She continued to bombard you with questions as you made your way to the front door with your heavy luggage in hand.

"Mom please, I gotta be there or I'll be late." You groaned.

"Well, at least let me drive you there." She offered, "Just as soon as I find my car keys we'll get going."

You opened the door and dragged the heavy luggage to the car, lifting the trunk over your head you carefully bend your knees and heaved the luggage into trunk. The weight of your suitcase caused the car to momentarily tilt at slight angle before returning back to its symmetrical side.

You shut the trunk before stretching out arms, as you were about to get into the passenger seat you stopped once you noticed a certain someone who shall not be named. She stared at you with such disgust and distain as she stood out her front porch. With a glass of lemonade in her hand and sunglasses on her forehead she let out a snobbish "Hmpf" at the sight of you. Of course you didn't pay her any mind since the two of you aren't friends anymore. You just rolled your eyes and sat in passenger seat as you slammed the door. She seemed offended by the door slamming as she huffed before going back inside and slamming her door.

"Good riddance." You muttered with your arms crossed over your chest. After what seemed like forever, your Mom finally returned with her car keys in hand. You stared out the window, looking at all the passing houses and trees not with your headphones in your ears listening to your favourite songs.

"We're here!" Your Mom announced as she pulled up to a suitable parking space. "Huh? That's so weird." She stared at the cabin. "What's weird?" You asked. "I feel like we've been here before...as a....family.." she trailed off, trying to remember the events that took place at this very spot. Your eyes widened in panic as you quickly rushed out of the car, grabbing your luggage.

"H-hey Wait a minute (Y/n)!" She shouted as she exited the car. You groaned, why are parents so annoying? "Yes Mom?" You gritted your teeth.

"I just wanted to meet your teacher and see if he needed any volunteers. Besides that, where is everyone?" She inquired as she turned towards the empty forest.

You can see Tails' workshop at the distance, maybe if you just run for it...

"Mom! They don't need any help with this trip, we're high schoolers not babies." You said in a rude tone. "Please, Just let me go before my class thinks I'm not showing up."

"O-Okay, dear. Have fun." Your Mom replied with a slightly saddened tone. As she got in the car she waved goodbye before driving back home. You let out a breath of relief, you didn't mean to sound like a jerk it's just that she wouldn't understand.

The door swung open as you gleefully walked inside your boyfriends home, there, he stood in front of you with an ear to ear grin and widened arms. You dropped your suitcase and jumped happily into his arms, he picked you up bridal style as his two tails spun around, lifting you both off the ground.

"I'm glad you made it." Tails smiled as he kissed your cheek. "I was beginning to worry that she might have been suspicious." He gently lowered you down before giving you another hug.

"Yeah, it's a good thing my Mom picked up the phone and not my Dad." You chuckled. "My Dad can be a real tightwad when it comes to school trips, there's no way he'd ever let me go."

"Well, hopefully he won't miss you too much since we'll be spending time together at Station Square."

You squealed with excitement at this, the thought of being in a new location with Tails sent goosebumps up your arms. "What are we waiting for? Let's go!" You shouted with anticipation, causing the two tailed fox to laugh.

"Right this way m'lady." He led you outside towards his biplane. You were about to climb in by yourself when he stopped you. "Nope. I can't allow a delicate flower such as yourself to risk straining yourself." He said as he gently lifted you inside the back passenger seat. You scoffed. "May I remind you that I have years of martial art training under my belt." You remarked. "Not to mention that I kicked Fiona's butt." You added.

"Touché." Tails replied. He flew towards the back compartment of the plane and opened the baggage door, he then stuffed your luggage into the compartment before locking it. "Okay we're all set!" He gave you the thumbs up as he flew into the front seat. He pushed a couple of buttons causing the engine to purr. "Seatbelts on!" He instructed as you both fastened your seatbelts at the same time.

The blue biplane soared into the air, the higher you went the smaller everything looked. The feeling was amazing, nothing could compare to such an amazing experience. You couldn't contain your enthusiasm as you shouted at the top of your lungs. "I'M QUEEN OF THE WORLD!" Tails laughed before shouting, "YES YOU ARE!" A couple of birds flew along side of the plane, you were tempted to pet them but you resisted the urge. Can't risk falling off a plane just to pet a bird right?

Unfortunately, the magical airplane ride had to come to an end once Tails had announced that the two of you were here. You awed in disappointment  upon hearing that but then you quickly awed in amazement once you saw a giant portal approaching. As the plane entered, you were consumed by beautiful swirling colours, it was like being inside a pretty whirlpool. Instead of screaming in terror, you awed as you were intrigued by strange yet beautiful phenomenon. Your eyes suddenly focused at the point in front of you, it looked like a translucent city. The closer the plane got the more clearer it became.

You instinctively closed your eyes thinking that your boyfriend was about to perform a crash landing, when instead it was a smooth ride. "It's okay (Y/n), you can open your eyes now." Tails said as he unfastened your seatbelt, when you did opened your eyes all you could say was "wow." Other than that you completely speechless. As Tails gently lifted your body to ground your eyes darted everywhere, taking your new surroundings. Mobians and humans together in the same city?

Tails held your hand and gestured towards the city he also calls home. He cleared his throat to get your full attention. "(Y/n), welcome to Station Square, also known as the Hidden city of the Ancients." He said proudly. "I just know that you're gonna love it here."
