Selena was at the hospital, she sat by Jake's bed as he was recovering. ''How are you? Are you feeling better?'' she asked him as she stroked his cheek gently. He held it against his cheek with his hand. 

''I'm getting there,'' he mumbled. ''Are you safe?'' he asked her and she nodded.

''I'm staying at Zac's until you get home.'' Jake nodded, and yawned suddenly. ''You should rest, I'm gonna go,'' she said as she noticed he was about to doze off, Selena stood up to leave the room and Jake grabbed her arm quickly.

''What about ..mom?'' he whispered.

''Rehab.'' She said and the expression on his face told her that he was surprised. ''Zac payed for it, I have no idea why. ''

''He's into you, that's why,'' he teased and Selena hissed as she rolled her eyes.
''Selena, I am so sorry for how I treated you all those years. I hit you, I yelled at you. You really didn't deserve it, '' he said quite slowly, he was still in a bad condition but on the road to recovery. He felt guilty and she could tell. But she wasn't mad at him anymore, there was one person she was mad at, and wanted that person to leave her and Jake alone.

''I know you are, believe me I've seen a bad person lately and his name is Kol. And Jake, you are nothing like him.'' Jake smiled as he heard those words, Selena giggled and left the room.

Selena was lying on Zac's couch resting. So many thoughts went through her head that she felt like she wanted to explode. She then felt him sit on the couch next to her. She rose up.

''You okay?'' he asked.

''Yeah, I am. Jake's just still recovering and ..''

''Your worried about him,'' he added. Selena confirmed it by nodding. ''He'll be fine.'' He put his hand on hers and she looked at it. ''He's at the hospital in good hands and you visit him nearly everyday. He'll be fine.''

She nodded. ''I know, thanks to you.'' She smiled.

''Selena, I am sorry for what I said at the club. It was wrong of me.''

''It's fine and I was being a little harsh and dramatic..'' she admitted.

''I know I'm a little older then you, I get it. I'm a pilot and you have your senior year going on. But when I saw you, I knew that I liked you. But I had no idea back then how important you would be to me.'' She looked into his deep blue eyes, his words echoing in her head. Important.

''And you to me,'' she said and held onto his hand. He leaned closer to her and she to him, so close that their lips touched. After a while, Zac pulled away and they looked at each other for a moment, he then leaned in again and they kissed more.

Jake was sleeping in his hospital bed, the lights were turned off and he suddenly opened his eyes as the lights were turned off. His vision was blurry but finally saw clearly, a dark haired girl was by his bed looking down on him. ''Do..I .. know you?''

''No, you don't.'' She sounded irritated. ''But you know Elena right, Selena's friend?''

''Yeah, what about her?'' he asked suspiciously.

''I need you to deliver her a little message for me..''

''Why not just do it yourself?'' he asked, wanting this girl to leave.

''Well, because it's more fun if you do it.'' She grinned.

Jake rolled his eyes, what twisted game was this girl playing? ''Fine..whatever, what's the message?''

She smirked, and grabbed a pillow. She shoved it into his face trying to suffocate him. He tried to fight her off, but it was difficult considering the fact that he was still injured. His heart started to beat faster and it showed on the heart monitor. ''Tell her, to stop stealing what belongs to me, Faye.'' She smirked, as she was still trying to suffocate him.
