A Dream Of Flying

Chapter 12

Zac had tried to call her but she had no interest in speaking to him. He said things that she couldn't forget. But was she taking it to seriously, him being older? She thought that at some point she was being harsh and dramatic. She had never really been with anyone before. Except Kol who had forced himself on her. Maybe she should talk to Elena maybe she could explain..or perhabs not. Jake was being super nice lately, took care of their mom. Tried to push her to go to treatment everyday, but it wasn't that easy. Selena was just glad that for once, she really did have a brother. He was no longer into the drug scene, he was there for her. 

''Maybe I should talk to Selena..'' Elena said as she and Stefan were at his house. '

'Yeah, maybe you should..or just stay with me..'' He snuggled her and tickled her.

''Stop it!'' she laughed. ''Stefan..please stop it!'' She continued to laugh.

''You know, your very cute when your so ticklish.'' He kissed her on the mouth.

''Have you talked to Zac?''

''Why, do I look like I hang out with pilots?'' 

''No, you don't..you don't have that class..'' She teased.

''Shut up!'' He tickled her again, making her laugh once more.

''Okay okay, fine I give in..sorry!'' she said, trying to stop him from tickling her even further.

''Good,'' he said while smirking in victory. ''But seriously Stefan, could you talk to him. I just want Selena to fix this..she's not happy. She's had a very hard life.''

''I'm not sure..'' he said.

''Please, for me,'' she pleaded and  kissed him on the cheek, putting her arms around his neck. ''Well..I'm not sure..yet,'' said Stefan. She then moved her lips onto his mouth. Kissing him. ''Okay, I'll do it!'' he said and a moment later they were in the middle of a makeout session.

A day later Stefan went to the café he knew Zac hung out at. He walked towards the table where he drank his coffee, while he read the newspaper. ''I figured I'd find you here..'' he said and pulled out a chair and sat down so he was facing him.

''Your uh..Elena's boyfriend right..''

''Yeah, Elena is Selena's friend..''

''And your here because..''

''You know Selena hangs out here so you figured you'd bump into her here but you wont.'' He smiled.

Zac cleared his throat. ''So are you some kind of match maker, the guy who makes everyone happily ever after.''

A small laughter escaped from Stefan's lips. ''Look, I'm just here to talk..Selena's sensitive. She's had a very hard life. There's that Kol guy who treated her like shit..been trying to drag her into his drug - underworld life..her mom's an alcoholic..and her brother is finally treating her nicely.''

''Maybe I should just step off..'' 

''No that's not what I'm saying..''

''Well maybe that's what I'm saying. '' He rose up from his chair. ''You, Elena and Jake can help her. Friends like you is what she needs, not a 23 year old pilot guy..'' he said and barged out of the coffee shop. Stefan sighed to himself as he watched him walk away.

''Look's like everything is falling into place.'' Kol smirked as he was with the man, they had been watching them in their car from a far.

''Guess so..'' the man said, Kol could swore that the man's voice sent shivers down his spine, his heart beating faster with evey minute that went by. This man was no lamb to play with, if you screwed him over he'd cut you into pieces and he wouldn't hesitate for  even one single second.

Stefan walked out of the coffee shop suddenly bumping into someone. ''Sorry..'' he apologized.

''No, I'm sorry..'' the girl said that had bumped into him, they then looked at each other and Stefan could have sworn he had saw a ghost or something.

''F-Faye..?'' His mouth dropped.

''Oh Stefan what a strange surprise!'' She smiled.

Holy shit. Stefan thought to himself.
