''What a coincidence, you here in the plane I am supposed to be flying with my girlfriend half crying?..''
''Zac..it's..''
''Zac help me,'' said Selena beginning to burst into tears.
''You shut up,'' snapped Kol.
''SECURITY,'' called Zac and the security came running as fast as they could towards them.
Kol then pulled Selena towards him, quietly stepping from his seat. He grabbed a knife from his pocket and held it against her neck. ''Don't move or I'll cut her.''
''You wouldn't. Your so obsessed with her that your not able to.''
Kol suddenly pushed Selena into Zac's arms and ran away and the securities chased him to the point that Kol fell down and they put him in handcuffs.
''It's over,'' said Zac who stroked Selena's hair as she was in his arms.
''Not quite,'' she mumbled into his chest as she remembered the letters she had found, but still glad that Kol wouldn't bother her anymore.
Kol was in jail, Faye was back on her pills and in rehab, she had moved to her mother again. In a really long time it hadn't been so peaceful, Selena felt like she could sleep and Jake was back home and they lived together at her mother's house. Zac was sad to see her go but understood. And Selena had thought it was time to visit her mother to the rehab centre. She parked infront of it and stepped inside. Her mom sat on her bed, a smile spread across her face as she'd seen her daughter walk in.
''Hey mom,'' she greeted.
''Hi darling, I've been sober for 3 months.''
''That's so great mom.''
''Thank you for believing in me sweetie.''
Selena sat down on the edge of her mother's bed. ''Your welcome. I knew you could do it.'' Her mother giggled happily. ''Now if we'll change the subject.'' She sat, took something out of her bag and threw it into her mother's arms whose face turned blank. The letters. ''Care to explain?'' Selena asked.
''Selena..''
''Tell me. Why did you hide them?''
''He wanted to take you away from me, and Jake.''
''Oh really, wonder why..you were high all the time!'' Selena snapped.
''I COULDN'T LOSE YOU,'' her mother yelled. ''So he just left.''
''I..got him a restraining order..''
''YOU WHAT?''
''I DID WHAT I COULD NOT TO LOSE YOU AND JAKE, SELENA.''
''YOU TOOK US AWAY FROM HIM, HE WOULD OF LET US VISIT YOU. I have one memory of him, it was Jane Eyre, the book I love. And for all these years I believed he didn't want me.''
''I'm sorry,'' her mother apologized.
''Yeah you better be,'' Selena said and took the letters and barged out of the room and out of the rehab centre.
''GOD.'' Selena growled slamming the door after her when she had arrived back into her house.
''Well you sound happy,'' said Jake as he stood there infont of her.
''Mom lied to us. Dad didn't leave because he didn't want her, she threatened him FORCING him to leave.'' Jake look down with his arms folded across his chest. ''You knew?'' she asked surprised.
''I begged dad to take me away. I did, but he told me to stay with you and take care of you. I was so mad at him for leaving so I took my anger out on you, which was completely wrong of me. I'm so sorry.''
Selena blinked. ''Atleast you didn't lie to me,'' she said smiling.
