You begin the morning with a bright sun rising in your window, bathing everything in your room in an orange hue. You take a second to listen to the birds chirp before rising from your sheets and getting ready for the day.

Breakfast past quickly. And boringly. You spent it chatting with your siblings over a bowl of oats and fresh fruit. The next hour and a half after that was spent at the fire pit rehearsing songs for that nights bonfire (being a child of Apollo had its pros and cons.)

Overall, the morning flew by a lot faster than you thought it would. Not to say you don't enjoy spending the morning alongside your siblings, you just didn't care for all the rehearsals.

After that, you had a gap in your schedule before lunch, so you decided to squeeze in a visit to your boyfriend, Leo. He could be found down on the beach working on some project Chiron had given him.

Upon your arrival, he was pleasantly surprised and greeted you with a warm smile. He looked to be deeply occupied in his work so you asked if you should come by another time. He assured you otherwise with another wide smile.

"Don't be silly, I'll never be too busy for you."

So, you took a seat beside him as he questioned you about your day. You politely responded although you could tell his mind was some place else. Not wanting to be a distraction, you opted to watching him work.

10 minutes of that and things got too boring too quickly so you decided it was time for Leo to take a break. Besides, lunch was just around the corner and it would take you two quite a while to walk across camp to make it.

Leo wasn't too fond on this idea however, claiming he was busy with 'top-secret stuff for top-secret people.'

"I can't even get 10 minutes," you pouted. Leo laughed.

"Once I finish this, you'll have me for eternity."

So, with a roll of your eyes, you kissed him goodbye and set off to find something else to do.

Your blind wandering led you to the pegasus stables where you ran into one of your siblings.

"Cam," you greeted. "If it isn't my second favorite brother."

A smile broke onto the boys face once he saw you.

"She lives! I was wondering where you ran off to after rehearsal this morning."

"Oh - right! Sorry about that," you froze in place and one of your hands rose to scratch the back of your head. "I left early to - "

"Visit Leo," Cam interjected with a wide grin plastered on his face. You rolled your eyes and crossed your arms over your chest.

"Yeah okay - whatever," you grumbled, unable to stop your cheeks from heating up.

"He still busy with that project?" Cam inquired.

You kicked the rocks at your feet to avoid his gaze.

"Yeah," you mumbled. "He's been caught up in it for days now."

"Ah," Cam nodded. "So that's why you look like a lost puppy."

Before you could reply, Cam held out his arm. His face was still split with a grin.
