Hera McQueen POV

"Watch out where you are going," I said out loud as soon as I looked up.

There in front of me stood a 6'2 tall man and quite handsome I may add. He was wearing a gray suit that complimented his beguiling green eyes perfectly. And for a very unknown reason, this face looks so similar to someone I couldn't point. For seconds he just stood there looking at my face. Cautiously I wiped around my lips and cheeks.

"What?" I asked, a little irritated that I couldn't get my morning dose of coffee in peace.

"Aren't you just a ray of sunshine." He blurted. And I could sense the sarcasm behind those words.

"And I would be a fireball if you didn't get out of my way. Now." I didn't want to be rude to him but in my defense, I'm nerve-wrack about the idea of running the firm on my own.

He chuckled, but show no intention of moving.

With an exasperated sigh, I stepped away and was about to leave when he took hold of my hand.

I looked up with a raised eyebrow.

"Let me buy you another coffee." he offered. I felt my tension leaving my body a bit with his mere touch and smile plastered to his face.

"No, it's fine. Thank you." I declined, wiggling my hand out of his grip, he let go.

"I insist." he persists, looking hopeful. I stared at him for a long moment then on my phone which tells me I still have ten minutes.

"Okay," I replied with a nod.

"Great, you could go and grab a seat as I get our coffee." He said and went to placed the order.

I looked around the place and found an empty booth near the window. Settling myself I looked outside to the busy street of Manhattan.

"Here you go." The guy said placing the same coffee I ordered earlier, hot mocha with the caramel layer. He sat on the other side with his coffee. I looked at him, trying to figure out where have I seen him. After minutes of silence, I spoke, "Sorry for snapping back there, and Thanks for the coffee." taking the sip from it.

"Don't worry about it. Do you work around here?" he asked, taking a sip from his cup.

"Not yet. I came down here to look at the place to open up a new branch for my law firm." I replied, "We heard there are few floors at Deighton Empire out in the market."

"Deighton Empire?" He asked with a surprising look on his face.

"Yeah." I looked down as my phone chime.
"Oh crap!"
I stood up from my seat almost knocking my half-filled coffee. I'm so going to be late for the meeting.
"Sorry, I have to cut this short. Thanks for the coffee, again. See you around." I said all that in a hurry and walked around the booth.

"Wait!"

I looked back to the man, "I didn't get to know your name?" he asked.

"It's Hera, Hera McQueen." with that say, I rushed out of the bliss cafe.

As I reached the entrance of the building, I mentally facepalm myself realizing I never asked his name.
