3. jaehyun: surprise

In this chapter you will be portrayed as a girl named Ha Naeyoung.

"Naeyoung!" Jaehyun calls from the bottom of the stairs. "Are you ready yet?"
You smiled to yourself. Today was your fourth date with Jaehyun, and he had promised to make it extra special since it was your birthday.

"Almost! Just need to fix my hair." You called down to him as you combed the last slightly tangled part of your hair. You could hear Jaehyun chuckle. Then you rushed down the stairs and almost fell on Jaehyun, who managed to catch you on his arms, making you blush.

"Jeez, Naeyoung, you don't have to rush down the stairs like that all the time!" Jaehyun laughed, looking down at your red face.

"Yeah, well I'm just excited, so you can't do anything about that," you pouted and stuck out your tongue. Jaehyun squeezed your cheeks and you yelled at him.

"Come on Naeyoung, we're gonna be late if we keep on arguing with each other!" he said as you kept yelling "YAH JAEHYUN DON'T EVER SQUEEZE MY CHEEKS IT HURTS" at him, but you finally calmed down and laughed.

"Fine. Let's go!" you said happily as you took his hand in yours.

Jaehyun pulled up his car into a vast field of grass, and he opened your door so you could get out.
You stared in awe at the stars above you two.

"It's...it's beautiful, Jaehyun! Is this what you planned?" you said as you turned your head to grin at him. Jaehyun smiled warmly.

"This isn't just part of it. Come with me," he said, and he took your hand and ran with you to the bottom of the hill. He smiled at you when you screamed in delight when the sweet breeze went through your hair.

       By the time you reached the bottom of the hill, you could see glowing lights just a few feet ahead of where you were standing.

"Jaehyun-ah, what's that?" you said, pointing to the lights.

"You'll see," Jaehyun said softly. He took your hand gently and guided you past the trees and the lake. The lights got brighter and brighter every few inches you two walked. Suddenly, Jaehyun covered your eyes.

"I-Jaehyun? What's going on?" you asked, sounding concerned.

"Just look," he said quietly behind you, and uncovered your eyes. The sight that greeted you was stunning.
There was a small building (I forgot what they're called, but you see them sometimes in parks, and they have wooden floors if someone could tell me the name of it I'd appreciate it😂) with fairy lights hung all around it. There was a small table in the center of it, filled with food and drinks, and two cute chairs. Soft music was playing in the background, and there was a small pond near by, where you could clearly see the moon and the stars being reflected off of it. You covered your mouth in shock, and your eyes filled with tears.

"Jaehyun...you didn't have to!" you exclaimed, running to him and hugging him. He just smiled.

"I promised to make it extra special, didn't I, Naeyoung?" Jaehyun whispered. "I wasn't gonna take you to the cafe like I did last time. This time, I wanted to give you something straight from my heart, something different and not common. Happy birthday, Naeyoung."

He smiled his signature smile, and lifted your chin with his fingers and placed a soft kiss on your lips. You smiled into it, and before pulling away, you lingered on a little bit. You both blushed and smiled after.

"Thank you," you said softly, and pulled him in again for another kiss.

"Anything to make you happy." Jaehyun responded happily. Then he took your hand and led you to the table to sit down. It was perhaps the best day of your life so far.

"I love you so much, Jaehyun. Thank you."

"I love you too, Naeyoung."

A/n: Oof well that was short, and I'm sorry for that😞 but I promise I'll make a longer one next time!
