Your P.O.V.

It was raining really hard by the time I got out of school, since it was unusually humid today. I had forgotten to bring my umbrella, so I knew I would get soaked. It was pouring once I got out, so I quickly ran to the bus stop. I squeezed the excess water from my hair once I got there, because I knew I was eventually going to get wet from the rain.
So when I got to the bus stop, I squeezed the water that was dripping down my hair. Suddenly, the rain stopped falling over head. I slowly reached an arm over my head to feel what was protecting my head from the rain. I looked up and it was a blue umbrella. When did an umbrella get here? I thought. I looked to my left, and there was a boy, probably my age, softly smiling at me.
"I saw that you were getting wet, so I decided to help," the boy said. I was silent for a moment, but I smiled.

"Thanks." I said, bowing my head slightly. The boy laughed and smiled.

"No problem! I'm Chenle, by the way." the boy grinned, holding out his hand. I shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you, Chenle," I said to him, "I'm Y/N!"

"That's a nice name!" Chenle said, the corners of his eyes wrinkling as he smiled adorably. My heart melted inside.

"Thanks! You have a nice name too." I responded. Chenle giggled.

"Hey, what bus are you taking?" he asked me.

"I take the bus to N/O/P. How about you?"

"Oh, I take the same bus!"

"Really? That's nice! I wonder why I haven't seen you on the bus then!" I laughed. Chenle laughed along.

"Well, at least I get to talk to you more now!" he said, grinning. My face turned a very very light shade of pink and I smiled.

Later, we got on the bus, and we chose two seats in the back and we began to chatter more.

"So what school do you go to?" Chenle asked me.

"S/N."
"No way! I go there too!" Chenle exclaimed, his eyes lighting up. I smiled to myself, and then smiled at him.

"That's great! Now we can see each other a lot!" I said. He nodded and grinned widely.

"Yeah!

"So who's your teacher?

"Mr./Ms. T/N".

"Cool! Mine is Mrs. T/N."

Chenle was about to say something when I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around and saw a guy who looked several years older than me.

"Hey babe, do you have the time on your phone?" he asked. I looked at Chenle, and we both looked annoyed. I took in a breath.

"Yeah, I have the time. And please don't call me babe," I said, slightly glaring at him. He winked and said, "Okay". I turned back in my seat to get my phone out of my pocket when the man behind me grabs me by my shoulders and lifts me backwards into the seat next to him. I stared at him as if he was crazy.

"Um, what do you think you're doing?!" I said, raising my voice. The man just smirked at me as he leaned towards me.

"No need to worry," his deep voice whispered. "Just relax, okay honey?"
The man reached towards my cheek, but I bit it and he recoiled his hand back.
"What are you doing?!" I shouted, gaining attention from some passengers. Some took their phone out while most of them, including Chenle, decided to help me.
One of the passengers held his arms back, but he pushed them away and grabbed onto me. I screamed and the bus driver drove to a halt. He looked at the back of the bus, and then turned back to his phone to call the police.
Back where I was, Chenle got up from his seat and slapped the man's face.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" Chenle screamed. "DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH MY GIRL!"
I blushed a lot when he said that. But slowly, the man got off at me as he glared at Chenle.

"Oh, so you're saying she's yours? Haha, tough luck kid. She's mine."
The man hissed. My eyes widened in fear as I looked at Chenle, who was breathing heavily as he clenched his fist. The man was about to lunge at Chenle when the police ran into the bus.
"POLICE!" they all shouted at different times. The man who had been attempting to molest me tried to run away, but as stupid as he was, the police caught him.
"We saw what you were doing," I heard one of them say as They led him off the bus.
Frantically and quickly, I searched for Chenle. Once I found him, I rushed to him and gave him a huge hug as I cried my heart out.

"Thank y-you...so m-much, Chenle..." I sobbed as he stroked my hair.

"Shhh, shhh...you're alright now..." he whispered to me. Then he held me at arms length and smiled. "You're probably even wondering why I said what I told the man, aren't you!"

I blushed. "No kidding..." I muttered, grinning at him while my face heated up. "You like me, don't you?"

Now it was Chenle's turn for his face to heat up. He rubbed his neck and smiled sheepishly. "Yeah...you're not mad right?" he said, chuckling awkwardly.

I hugged him and gave him a peck on the cheek. "Of course not!" I said, and we smiled. Then Chenle placed a kiss on my nose, making my face turn red, and he said, "Come on. We should get going home before anyone starts questioning us."
I smiled.

"Yeah."
So Chenle wrapped his arm around my shoulder, and he led me off the bus, where he walked me home( that song made me so emotional idk why lol), sharing a long kiss with me before I went inside my house.

"See you at school tomorrow, Y/N!"
"See you tomorrow, Chenle!"

"I..." Chenle stopped for a second.

"Hm?"

"I...I love you."
