I need to feel something

Mike is running into his house with tears burning in his eyes. He didn't say a word to his mom in the car. He couldn't speak.

He has never in his whole life been this upset and all he wants to do is to fucking die because Will knows. He knows.

All Mike can see is Wills disguisted face. All Mike can think of is that he's never going to be able to look Will in the eyes again.
He has ruined their friendship forever.

He messed up, he messed up so bad. Mike is still holding the notebook so he throws it away to the other side of the room. He never should have written these damn texts.

Someone knocks on his door, for a second he thinks that maybe Will is there but thats kind of impossible. When he turns around he sees El's face.
- Mike can we hang out she says and smiles.
He just looks at her.
Then he walks to her and takes her face in his hands and he kisses her.

I need to feel something
god let me feel something

He keeps kissing her over and over again.

Oh my god just let me feel something
I need to feel something, i need to love her

After a while she stops kissing him back and she looks scared.
- Mike why are you crying she says with a worried voice.
Thats when he realises that tears are streaming down from his face.
- I don't think i love you anymore Mike whispers.
El just stares at him and he can see that he just broke her heart. It breaks him inside to see her like that because there was a time when he really did love her.
- I'm so sorry he says and sobs.
- You said you loved me only days ago. Friends don't lie she says with a shaky voice. It's anger in it too.
- I'm sorry okay Mike almost shouts.
Then she runs out of his house and with her powers she slams the door so hard that it feels like the whole house is shaking.

Mike mom is screaming something from downstairs but he can't listen to her.

He has fucked up everything.
His heart is a mess.
So is his mind.

Will is on his bike and he is almost at Mikes house when he sees that El is running out of the front door. Will can see that she is very upset. Then he hears a loud noice and for a few seconds he thinks that the door is about to break. El used her powers, she is still far away but he can see the blood under her nose.

When Will is only a few metres away from Mikes house El is gone. Will stops the bike and walks towards the front door, when he has knocked on the door he feels really nervous.

It's just a fucking joke okay

But no matter if Mike meant it or not it isn't a joke for Will, what he feels for Mike is real in a world where most of the things are fake.

And Will isn't afraid anymore. But he is nervous. Will can't think anymore because suddenly Karen is opening the door. She has a weird look on her face, a " what the hell is going on today" look.
- Is Mike home Will says with a bit shaky voice.
- Yes, he's in his room she says with a smile.
- He forgot something at my house Will says while Karen lets him in.

When Will is standing outside of Mikes door he takes a deep breathe. It's now or never.
Then he knocks at Mikes closed door.
- I meant what i said El Mike shouts and Will can hear that Mike is crying.
Mike doesn't open the door.
- It's Will the smaller boy says and his chest feels heavy, what if Mike doesn't want him here either.

For almost a minute it's totaly quiet inside the room, Mike doesn't say a word but after a while Will can hear him walking on the other side of the wall and then he opens the door.

Will just looks at the taller boy. He can see tears in Mikes red eyes and he just looks so sad that Will thinks that his heart is about to break any second now. He can't take it, seeing Mike like that. Mike looks down and Will notices that he must have been staring at Mike for far too long.
- Mike I-
Mike cuts him off.
- Don't he whispers.
Then the black haired boy keeps talking.
- I know that you probably are here to say that i ruined our friendship and that you wish you never would have read that and i know that you  think that i'm a fag.
- Mike stop Will whispers, he feels so sad. How can Mike think of him like that.
- I think it's better if you leave Mike says and now he is crying so much that it scares Will because he has never seen his best friend like this.

Will can't take it, he just throws himself in Mikes arms and at first Mike just stands there but then he hugs back. They are holding each other so tight and Will never wants to let go of Mike.

I love you Mike
I love you so much

Thats the only thing on Wills mind but he's too afraid to say it

So for now, holding each other like they are doing right now is more than enough.
