"I'm in the park, where are you Lola?" I texted her.

There were a lot of people. Too many people. I don't know anyone here.

"Almost there! Go ride something. We'll be there by the time you finish." She replied.

"I CANT RIDE SOMETHING BY MYSELF!"

"Sure you can. Go ride the Ferris wheel or something." She replied. Ferris wheel... seems okay, I should be able to ride by myself in one of those things... I got in line.

"You better get here within the next five minutes Loler." I sent.

"How many?" The ride manager asked.

"I- uh... one..."

"Sorry, m'am we don't let people ride by themselves." She said. WHAT.

"But I don't have anyone else here... my friends not here yet..." what do I do? I'm by myself-

"Hold on..." she sighed. Great I annoyed her. "ARE THERE ANY OTHER SINGLE RIDERS HERE?!" She shouted. Silence. "Sorry-"

"I'm a single rider!" Someone shouted. I didn't dare look who said it.

"Come up here, sir!" She waved him up. Fuck my life. What if it's some old dude who is gonna hit on me- "Okay, you two get in this one." She pushed me closer to the seat. I looked to who I was riding with. Oh my god. It's the jack ass from yesterday! His dark black hair was slicked back, he has stubble... I like stubble... his dark brown eyes, piercing into mine.

"Well hello." He smirked. How I wanted to smack that smirk off his face. I rolled my eyes and sat down. He sat across from me. "I'm Ezra." He held out his hand.

"I don't care." I looked away from him. I pulled out my phone.

"So cruel!" He pouted.

"Loler I need help, I'm stuck on the Ferris wheel alone with a guy who is a jack ass." I pressed send and then he took my phone.

"HEY!" I yelled and lunged for my phone. He held it away from me.

"Oh so I'm a jack ass?" He asked.

"YES!" I yelled. "You stole my phone!"

"Well maybe if you weren't such a bitch to me I wouldn't be a jack ass." He smirked.

"You're the one who started this. You could have helped me yesterday but you decided to be a dick. And now you steal my phone!" I tried to grab my phone but he pulled it out of my reach.

"Tell me your name and I will give your phone back." He said.

"Why do you care?"

"Because, you intrigue me." He smirked. I crossed my arms.

"I'm Ever. Now can I please have my phone back?" I asked holding out my hand.

"Is that short for Everly?" He handed my phone back.

"My name is Ever."I snatched my phone away from him.

"Whatever you say Everly." He smirked. He's really pissing me off. We were at the top of the Ferris wheel now. "Mm we are at the top... fancy a kiss with me, Everly?"

"Fuck no!"

"Ah don't be delusional, Everly, you like me teasing you and you know it."

"I think your the delusional one here, Ezra." I snapped.

"Mm... you wish."

"I might actually jump out of this gondola." I looked out to see how far the drop would be. Might be enough to put me out of my misery.

"I wouldn't go to that measure, Everly." He said. "Wouldn't want you dead now, would we?"

"It'd be better than dealing with you." I snapped.

"So feisty... I like it." He smirked. I rolled my eyes.

"Get me out of here." I sighed. He huffed.

"I need a cigarette." We said at the same time. We both looked to each other. I kind of chuckled slightly, as did he.

"You smoke?" He said taken aback.

"I used to... I quit about... a year ago... my friend Lola didn't like it when I smoked... said it reminded her of someone... wouldn't let me move in to the new place until I stopped smoking." I replied. "Do you still...?"

"I quit... like a month ago..." he replied.

"Why?" I asked, intrigued.

"My ex girlfriend didn't like it... and so it was a thought of mine to "better" myself I guess..." he sighed and scratched the back of his head.

"What was she like?"

"Wild... absolutely wild... beautiful... smart... funny..."

"What happened?"

"She cheated on me... and then broke up with me to be with him..." he said. I nodded.

"That's a shitty thing to do." I said. "Loler had done that to some guy... she wouldn't tell me anything about him. I never met him. But I feel bad for the man... I don't condone what she does but I love her too much to end our friendship over stupid shit she does with other people... it isn't any of my business any how." I replied. The ride started.

"Lola... does she have dark brown hair...?"

"Yeah... why?"

"Because that was my ex's name. Lola."

"Hm." Well this is awkward. I pulled up a picture of me a Loler. "Is this her?" I asked showing him the phone.

"Yeah that's her..." He said. Well. Great. So I'm stuck in a Ferris wheel with Loler's ex. Hopefully he doesn't lash out on me for what she did. I locked my phone.

"I'm sorry..."

"You didn't do anything to me, I don't know why your apologizing."

"Because she hurt you, and from what I can tell, you aren't over her." I said. "Is that why you were at the apartment complex the other day? To come see her?"

"Fuck no. I was there to hang out with Jake. He's my friend." He replied. I nodded.

"I meant what I said earlier though, Ezra." I said.

"That I'm an asshole?" He joked.

"No, that I am sorry. I truly am. I dont agree with what she did to you, whatsoever." The ride stoped and it was our turn to get off. I stepped out and he followed.

"Thank you, Everly." He smirked. I rolled my eyes.

"Your welcome, asshole." I winked.
