"Are you here alone?" I asked catching up to her.

"I'm waiting for Loler and uh... Tristan..." she looked down.

"Oh. Well maybe I could keep you company till they show?" I asked hopefully.

"Okay, but if Lola freaks out then that's on you." She responded.

"Okay." I smiled softly. She smiled back. "What do you want to ride next?"

"Um... I don't know... I usually don't go to theme parks..."

"Then what do you do?" I replied.

"I write..."

"Are you a Novelist then?"

"Well, I write articles in magazines and stuff like that because I have to pay my bills, but I am also trying to write my own book..." she bit her lip slightly and smiled softly. She's so cute... "What do you do?" She looked over to me.

"I'm a lawyer." I replied.

"Hm, fancy." She laughed slightly.

"Yeah?" I chuckled.

"Yeah." She smiled slightly.

"Alright everyone I am back from break!" Someone said over a microphone. Her head snapped to the sound.

"Live performer... I wonder what they will play..." she said. She started walking over to the beer tent that the live player was in. I followed her and she was leaned against a high table. I joined her, but instead, I sat down. She followed my example, sitting next to me. The performer started playing "Jealous" by Labrinth. She looked mesmerized by his voice. I smiled softly. She noticed me looking at her and met my gaze. "What...?" She smiled. She was so beautiful...

"Do you want a drink?"

"Oh I'm not old enough..."

"How old are you?"

"Nineteen."

"Oh wow... you're young." I thought she was Lola's age.

"Yeah... how old are you?" She rested her head against her arm.

"Twenty four..."

"You're oldddddd..." she giggled and smiled softly, scrunching her nose.

"Hey!" I pouted.

"Just kidding. That's not that old." She smiled. I continued pouting. She reached forward to my face and poked my nose. "Boop." I couldn't help but chuckle. I wasn't expecting that at all. She's nothing like what I expected... she smiled more.

"You're adorable." I told her.

"Am not..." she blushed a bright red shade.

"Are to." I replied.

"Am not..." she pouted.

"You're only proving my point even more, love." Love? Oh my god, she's gonna think I'm a freak- she groaned and hid her face so I could only see her eyes. I smiled softly. She raised one eyebrow. How does she do that? I tried to do it, causing her to laugh. "How do you do that?" I asked trying to do it again.

"I used to practice when I was younger." Her hand moved to my face and pushed down my other eyebrow. "I would do that, and then raise my eyebrow so I would build up its strength to be able to do that." She laughed slightly.  I smiled. "What?"

"You're a dork." I laughed slightly. She pouted.

"Am not!" She moved her hand away from my face.

"Are too." I smiled. She crossed her arms. "Oh quit it, you know you're a dork." She huffed.

"Fine." She sighed. She moved to look at her phone. She frowned.

"What?"

"Lola said she couldn't make it... she's apparently busy with Tristan..." she sighed, locking her phone.

"I'm sorry..."

"Don't worry about it, it's not your fault..."

"I suppose..." I sighed. She looked sad. "Can I buy you that drink now?" I asked. She looked to me.

"I suppose..." she rolled her eyes, smiling.

"What do you want?"

"I'll have whatever you're having." She replied.

"Mkay." I said. Hopefully she likes beer. I ordered us two beers and paid for them before bringing them back to the table.

"I thought you'd be a whiskey man." She admitted. I handed her the beer.

"Because I'm a lawyer?"

"Maybe..." she smiled taking a drink of the beer.

"So judgmental." I joked before taking a drink.
-
"So wait let me get this straight," I started. "You've never had a boyfriend?" How the fuck had no one dated her? She's smart, beautiful, adorable and funny.

"Nooope." She chuckled taking a drink of her beer.

"Alright, Love birds, we are closing so can you two leave?" A worker asked us.

"Aweeee but I was having so much fun...." she sighed.

"Come on, Everly, lets go." I said standing up. She was drunk. She sighed before getting up. She looked wobbly so I wrapped my arm around her waist. I led her out of the park. "Where did you park?" I asked.

"I took the bus." She replied.

"Okay, well then let's get to my car." I said before walking to where I parked.

"You're bossy."

"I'm not bossy." She giggled.

"You're very bossy, Mr. Bossman." She was giggling uncontrollably. I rolled my eyes. "But you're also very sexy... I don't understand why Lola would ever give you up for Tristan... Tristan is not my type. I don't see the appeal ya know? He's okay I guess but like, a sexy lawyer man? Why would you give up that?"

"You think I'm sexy?" I smirked.

"Mhmmmmm!" She smiled. "And smart, and kind of a dick. But I guess that's something I like in guys. I don't know." She sighed. I unlocked the car and opened the passenger side door. "Woooooow this is your car?"

"Yeah... you like it?"

"It looks expensive..."

"It was."

"Why?"

"Why what?"

"Why do you need an expensive car?"

"I mean, I don't I just-"

"You wanna know how much my car is worth?"

"Sure."

"Five hundred bucks. It has two wheels, and even has a bell!"

"That's a bike."

"I know, smart ass." She got in my car. I got in the other side. "I don't need a car, I either walk, or bike. Or if I need to, I take the bus."

"Good for you." I said starting the car.

"Yep!" She smiled. I started the drive to her apartment. "So how do you know Jake?"

"Well I met Jake in college."

"Ooh fancy." She said.

"Sure."  I laughed.
