"Get in, Dick. Come on."
Wendy's best friend of years, Dick Grayson had just walked up to her apartment door, beaten and exhausted.
He'd always show up at her house when he lost a fight, which was surprisingly a lot.
"Do you want me to heal you?" Wendy asks, she always asked, and yet he always said no.
"Please?" The boy looked broken, and he had to be just to let her heal him.
When she moved her hand to touch his bruised arm, he reluctantly moved away.
"Nevermind. Let's not do this." He shakes his head, wincing.
"Dick, it would make you feel better." Wendy tried to convince the boy.
"No."
"Please?"
"No."
She began to get angry at the boy, who wouldn't let her help him. In a moment of anger, she leans forward and pull him into a kiss. At first he was shocked, and slid back a little, but after a few seconds he began to kiss back.
Wendy slowly slipped her hand onto his chest, and watched as his busted lip, black eye, and multiple cuts dissolved into nothing.
