Complicated love

CH 6: Asgard

Start: 04/08/18

That evening they returned to Asgard through the rainbow bridge bifrost. When they arrived there Heimdall was waiting for them.

"Welcome back" He said. "Who is this young maid"

"Heimdall it's good to see you" Thor said. "It's a friend of mine"

"It's been a long time since I saw you Heimdall" Daphne suddenly said.

"Lady Daphne" Heimdall suddenly realised. "I'm sorry that I didn't recognise you. You have changed the past years"

"I can't say the same to you" Daphne said. "You're yourself alike. But it's good to see you Heimdall"

"As well" Heimdall replied. "Shall I tell the king that you're here?"

"No need" Thor said. "We'll meet him immediately"

Heimdall nodded and they walked towards Asgard. There in Asgard they found Odin sitting in his usual place on the throne.

"My sons" Odin said. "It's a pleasure to see that you're back"

"Father" Thor said. "It's good to be back"

"And who is this young lady you brought. I can feel that she's not mortal" Odin said.

Daphne took a step forward.

"Your majesty" She said and made a curtsy.

"Lady Daphne" Odin said. "The last Valkyrie. How did you find her son"

He was looking at Thor. But before anyone could say anything Frigga came in.

"I heard that my sons were back" Frigga said.

"Hello Mother" Loki said and gave her a hug. Then she went to Thor.

"Good to see you mother" Thor said.

"And who is this beautiful young lady?" Frigga asked looking at Daphne.

"Thor was about to tell us how he found the last Valkyrie" Odin said.

"Actually" Thor said. "It was Loki"

You could see Odin's shocked face even if he tried to hide it. But Frigga just gave him the proud look.

"Well Loki" Odin said. "How did it go?"

"I found her" Loki said. "We got know each other and she followed me to Asgard"

"Oh I see" Frigga said and gave Loki that I-understand-exactly-what's-happening-look.

"Well sons it's good to have you back" Odin said.

Later they were in Loki's room. Daphne was going to get the room beside Loki's. To get in there she could to go through Loki's room or through the hall.

"I don't want to be rude but is your father always like that towards you?" She asked.

"What do you mean?" He asked even if he kind of knew what she meant.

"So ignorant towards you?" She asked. "And don't give me that look. You know exactly what I'm talking about. When he saw me a he really wanted to know how Thor found me. But when Thor told him that it was you the little sparkle in his eyes disappeared"

"Well. Let's say that I'm not the favourite son" Loki said.

"Does it ever bother you?" She asked.

"Maybe. But whatever I do I'll always be the second son" Loki said.

"Well if it is to any relief Frigga loves you. And I think I prefer you too" Daphne said.

"Well I think that you are the only" Loki said.

"I think that people would love you if they just got to know you" Daphne said. "If you excuse me I gonna check out my room. Even if it's empty now"

Then she went and opened the door.

"Ehh Loki" She said. "No one knew that I was coming right?"

"It was unplanned so no. No one knew" Loki said while he was reading a book.

"Are you sure that the room was empty?" She asked then.

"Yeah why do you ask?" He asked and lay away the book and walked up to her.

There he saw the room. It was a beautiful bedroom with silver and gold details. Daphne went up to the wardrobe which stood open. It was filled with beautiful Asgardian dresses and a box of jewellery. There were even some warrior clothes.

"This is to much" Daphne said. "I don't need this much"

"Don't worry dear" A voice said behind them. "It's just in case you wanted some extra"

They turned around and saw Frigga walking towards them with a smile.

"Your majesty" Daphne said.

"No need to be so polite dear" Frigga said. "Do you like the room?"

"Yes. It's beautiful" Daphne said.

"Thank you" Frigga said. "What about you try on one of the dresses. I want to see if they fit"

Daphne nodded, took a dress And went to her own bathroom.

"She's really something special isn't she" Frigga said smiling.

"Yeah. I guess so" Loki said.

"And you like her" Frigga said looking at Loki.

"How did you know?" Loki asked.

"Do you think you can fool me?" She asked. "I see the way you look at her. How gentle you are around her. And I'm so proud of you my son"

Loki was a little shocked when she said so.

"Thanks you" Then he hesitated. "Mother"

Then Daphne came out in a simple blue Asgard dress. Even if we know that their simple dresses isn't so simple after all.

"Daphne. You look wonderful" Loki said completely stunned.

"Thank you" She said and blushed.

"That looks wonderful" Frigga said. "I have to go now. And you should prepare for the welcome celebration of you and your brothers honour"

Then she walked out.
