Complicated love

CH 12: Hope

Loki looked at the letters and took out one. The he opened it and started to read.

"How long are you going to continue Daphne. When are you going to realise who Loki really is. He haven't paid any attention to you the past days. Why don't you just give him up. Leave him and you can get an extraordinary life with someone else. Someone who always been there for you"

When he read it he took another.

"Good job Daphne. You left him. Or maybe he left you we don't really care. But finally you can move on and enjoy your life without any troubles. Loki won't miss you so don't waste your time on him. It's time to move on and maybe when you open your eyes you'll finally realise who have always been there for you"

He read one after one. Some were shorter and some were longer. After around twelve letters he took everyone and threw them on the floor by frustration. When he suddenly saw a special letter. Unlike the other white ones this letter had painted flowers on it. And it was no name. He slowly opened it and read the perfectly written words.

"Hey Loki

If you read this I guess that you have read the other letter too. At least some of them. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry. You are not coldhearted or anything that they called you. Or anything I called you. I was frustrated and it just flew out of my mouth. But I wanted you to know that I never believed them. I knew deep down that it was all lies. I'm sorry that it wasn't us. And I'm sorry that I didn't tell you goodbye. We will probably meet each other again in a few years. But then everything has changed. We won't be the same. So I just wanted you to know before all this happens that I'll miss you. From Daphne"

Loki felt a little bit hope lit up in his chest again. He walked out of the room where the guards were waiting.

"Can we continue?" The guard asked.

"No. Put everything back in it's place" Loki said. "I'll find her"

Days went and Loki used every single free minute trying to figure where Daphne was. He had read the letter about a thousand times and had memorised almost every word. But no one knew where she was. And Heimdall got orders not to tell anyone. So the big question still remains.

Where is she?

Loki was in his room reading the letter when Thor came in.

"Anything new?" Thor asked.

"Nothing. Nothing at all" Loki said. "She wasn't on earth. Where could she be?"

"Loki. You need to rest and eat a little bit more. There is some food left to you" Thor said.

"But it's like something is missing" Loki said.

"Well I can she that she's very good at drawing flowers" Thor said and meant the four different fires on each corner.

"Well I guess she is" Loki said and looked at the colourful flowers.

Even more days went and everything night Loki dreamed about meeting Daphne. But the dream wasn't always good. Some times it was about meeting her years after and see that she had moved on. But this dream was different. It was almost real. He sat there and thought about it.

It was on a meadow. The sun was shining and and in the middle was Daphne standing.

"Daphne?!" He called for her.

She turned around without any emotion.

"Say something!" He called tor her.

"I have nothing to say" Daphne said. "There was nothing more to say"

"What do you mean?" Loki asked confused.

"You never found me. You never will" Daphne said. "You didn't follow the clue. You didn't follow the nature"

"What?" Loki said still confused.

"They were beautiful wasn't they" Daphne said.

"What was beautiful?" Loki asked.

"The Flowers"
