"Calm down."

Jeonghan shot his best friend a glare, muttering, "Calm down? Calm down? I can't fucking calm down, Josh."

"I don't get why you're panicking so much," Joshua said with a shrug as he folded another shirt of Jeonghan's and placed it neatly in the suitcase, "You and Seungcheol have been going out for a while now."

"Yeah but. . . I'm meeting his parents," insisted Jeonghan, trying to justify his nervous state, "What if they don't like me? What if they don't think I'm right for Cheol? I don't want that to happen, Jisoo."

"Han." Joshua took him gently by the shoulders, forcing Jeonghan to look at him. "You are, without a doubt, one of the sweetest people I know and any parent would be honoured to have you dating their kid, okay? Now calm the hell down and help me pack your suitcase. You're meeting him at the station in less than an hour."

Slowly, Jeonghan nodded. "Yeah. . . okay. Thanks, Josh."

Humming the tune to their own songs, the two continued to pack Jeonghan's suitcase neatly, making sure everything he needed for his two week stay away from the dorms was there.

When he was ready, Jeonghan secured his mask on his face and pulled a cap onto his head to mask his identity. He looked in the mirror one last time, earning a groan from Joshua, before finally making his way to the car.

Upon reaching the station, the blond man pulled out his phone to text his boyfriend, checking in to see where he was. Quickly, he received a reply, letting him know where Seungcheol was waiting for him and that he'd already booked and paid for their tickets.

"Hi, honey," Jeonghan greeted him, instantly spotting him regardless of the effort to not be noticed.

"How are you doing today, my love?" Seungcheol asked endearingly, voice hushed, eyes full of love for the man in front of him. Jeonghan giggled, wishing he could throw his arms around the man then and there, but he knew that there were always people watching them - it was one thing that came with being an idol.

"Great. Nervous, but great," replied the singer, wide smile hidden by the black mask he wore.

"Don't be nervous, sweetheart," Seungcheol told him, and even though his smile couldn't be seen, his eyes showed it, "My parents will love you, okay? Its hard not to love you."

"God, I really wanna kiss you right now," murmured Jeonghan, lips closer to Seungcheol's ear so the words would be for the rapper only.

He chuckled. "Let's get going, shall we? The sooner we get there, the sooner I get to pull that mask off and kiss you how I want."

Jeonghan's cheeks turned hot. "Shut up, let's go."

The train ride was pretty relaxing. Jeonghan had his head rested comfortably on Seungcheol's lap while the latter rested his against the window with a neck pillow. They were asleep for most of the ride considering they hadn't gotten much the previous night.

When they arrived in Daegu, both of them felt fresh. Nervousness bubbled in Jeonghan's stomach as he and Seungcheol retrieved their luggage and went to find the latter's parents - they had insisted on picking up Seungcheol and Jeonghan from the station and the brunet just couldn't refuse.

Unfortunately, Seungcheol's brother was unable to take off of work at this time, so he wouldn't be with them over the week.

Seungcheol spotted his parents by their car and rushed over to them, Jeonghan by his side. The rapper bowed to his parents before hugging them both tightly, telling them how much he'd missed them.

"Mom, Dad, this is Jeonghan." Jeonghan bowed politely, greeting them formally with a large, but nervous, smile on his face.

Mrs Choi chuckled. "No need to be so formal, come here." She took Jeonghan into a warm hug. The woman had always been a hugger, Seungcheol knew that and had expected her to hug the blond. He watched in amusement as Jeonghan's eyes widened before his features softened and fell into a happy state. He smiled his angelic smile and hugged her back happily.

Once she'd pulled away, the woman scanned Jeonghan quickly. "Wow, Cheol, where'd you manage to find him?"

Jeonghan blushed and Seungcheol just laughed. "Luck was really on my side, Mom."

"Stop," murmured Jeonghan, lightly wacking Seungcheol's arm.

"Come on," Mr Choi said, a light smile on his face as he watched the exchange, "Let's go home."

"Thank you so much for letting me stay here," Jeonghan bowed to Seungcheol's parents once the two had settled into the house and into the room they were to share.

"It's no problem at all, dear," Mrs Choi replied, her smile reminding the blond a lot of her son's, "We're really happy to have you here."

"Thank you." Jeonghan couldn't keep the smile off of his face; he loved his boyfriend's parents already and it'd only been about an hour since he'd met them. "Can I help you with dinner, ma'am?"

"No, no, I'm sure you must be exhausted from your trip here. Why don't you go and lie down for a bit?"

Jeonghan ended up helping Mrs Choi prepare for dinner that night and he was extremely happy to do so. He got to bond with Seungcheol's mother (and hear embarrassing stories about his boyfriend as a bonus) and he loved her as his own already. He felt so welcomed into their family.

And Seungcheol was filled with contentment and joy at how well Jeonghan fitted into their small family. He loved the man so much, he couldn't imagine a life without him; he was grateful to have his parents' approval.

As the two men rested upon the soft, navy covers that night, they faced one another with smiles rested upon both of their faces. They felt free, blissful, euphoric, just lying there in each other's arms, finally in the privacy of one's home. Even though they knew it wouldn't last forever, they basked in the feeling of every feeling they felt at that moment.

"See. I told you they'd love you."
