"Wish we could stay here forever," he mumbled, staring out of the window of their hotel room, the scenery never failing to take his breath away as he watched the small snowflakes flutter through the pale blue sky. His breath fogging up the window as he spoke, he giggled and traced a small heart in the remnants.

"We'll come back, okay?" The other said as he took hold of his boyfriend's hand, joining him so they watched as people rushed by far below them.

"Thanks for bringing me." Soonyoung turned away from the picturesque view to an even more breath taking sight. He wrapped his arms around Jihoon's shoulders so his back would rest against the older's chest. Soonyoung kissed the top of his head, a smile stained upon his lips.

"Like I said," Jihoon replied, his eyes closed as he relaxed into the embrace, "I'd do anything to make you happy, Hoshi."

"You do," he murmured, chin rested on his boyfriend's shoulder, "You really do make me the happiest person ever."

Jihoon turned around and wrapped his arms around the older, tilting his head up to make eye contact with him. "It's because I'm in love with you. You're my best friend; you're my soulmate."

"What's gotten into you?" Soonyoung chuckled lightly. "You've been extremely cheesy recently—not that I don't love it. It's adorable."

"I'm excited, I guess." he shrugged. "Leaving the group is going to be hard and all but. . . I'm excited for us to be able to do whatever the hell we want, be whoever we want. I wanna be able to take you out all the time without having to worry about scandals and shit. I'm. . . I'm excited to be with you, Hosh."

"Me, too, Woozi." he leaned down and pressed a kiss to the younger's lips, quick and soft. "You know. . . sometimes I completely forget that we're both adults now and we have so many responsibilities lying on our shoulders; being with you takes me back to when we were younger, when we had everything we needed."

"You okay?" Jihoon murmured, "I know the date is coming up soon and. . ."

Soonyoung shook his head. "It's been years, but I can't let go. Sometimes I really do wish we could just go back to when we were fifteen years old and just freeze time."

"I know you miss her, baby." Jihoon reached up to trace his fingers across Soonyoung's closed eyelids. "That's perfectly normal. I promise that we'll take a train on the day to visit, okay? We can even stop by that little ice cream store by the florist. How does that sound?"

"Perfect."

"You know she's still with us, right? She's not gone; she'll never be gone."

"I know." he sighed. "It's not. . . I guess I just miss her presence, I miss her warm hugs and her hot chocolate that mom could never get right. I miss how she always knew exactly what was wrong. I miss the times when she would drag me to the rooftop to talk because it was supposedly healthy to talk about things. I miss having a sister."

Jihoon wrapped his arms tightly around Soonyoung when the latter began to cry, using his arm to cover his face but Jihoon gently pried it away. He wiped the man's tears with his thumb and kissed his cheeks.

"I just—" Soonyoung struggled to speak through his soft cries. "I can't believe it's been five years already."

"I know, I know." Jihoon rubbed circles on his back comfortingly. "It's gonna be okay baby, I promise."
