Jihoon sighed. It'd only been two weeks since he left but he was already feeling the distance. The last time he went on tour, Soonyoung had come with him but it wasn't possible this time. Soonyoung had things to do in Korea. "I miss you, too."
"Come back," mumbled Soonyoung, his voice quiet. It immediately sent off warning alarms in Jihoon's mind. The younger man sat up, adjusting his phone in his grip so he could see his boyfriend clearer.
"What's wrong, baby?" he asked, his voice velvety and calming as he spoke, knowing exactly how to calm his baby down.
"Don't know," replied the man, his tears illogically filling his eyes, "I don't know, Woozi. I just—I just miss you a lot. Want you to come back."
"I can't come back yet, Hoshi." Jihoon tore his eyes away from the heartbreaking sight of the single tear slipping down Soonyoung's face as he lay down in his bed. Jihoon wanted nothing more than to wrap his arms around Soonyoung in that moment, holding him tightly and kissing all his worries away. "I promise you, I'll be back soon, okay? After this is over, it's just you and me, baby."
"Yeah." he sniffled. "Mm, I'm so in love with you, kitten. I can't wait to kiss you when you get back."
Jihoon chuckled. "You're so cute~"
"Yah! You didn't say it back."
"I didn't think I needed to. Isn't it obvious enough already?" asked Jihoon, "Don't you already know how in love with you I am?"
"I know. . ."
