8. Watch Me Burn

Jensen removed the clip and looked back at me, "So random people from your past coming back to you, is that normal?"

"Is someone knocking you out in the middle of a parking lot normal?"

"You drove here, I didn't."

I shook my head as I got up, "Yea, which is strange. I don't know why I came here."

Jensen looked back at me, "What do you mean you don't know why we came here?"

I shook my head as I pushed hair out of my face, "Something isn't right."

Jensen reached over and grabbed me just as a truck was rolling down the street.

I looked back up at him, "Thanks for that."

He nodded his head back at me, "You are welcome but maybe we should leave."

"No, you knew exactly why you came here."

I turned around and saw Rosalie walking over to me. "Why did I come here?"

"You always come back to the sight of your first kill."

I narrowed my eyes at her as Rosalie pointed down at the ground.

I walked around her and saw the man on the ground with the teeth prints in his neck, "I did that?"

Rosalie nodded her head, "You don't smell your venom?"

"I do, I thought it was from something else."

Rosalie glanced back at Jensen, "I would leave before the police get here. That gunshot is gonna draw them out."

Jensen watched as I grabbed the lighter from Rosalie and tossed it over onto the man, "Just gonna burn him and leave him?"

I glared back at him, "I don't wanna get into this right now."

"I kinda wanna understand what the fuck is going on. You give me a gun and say shot at anything that attacks you. You then come back to this random place where you killed a man? You have to explain everything to me before I get in that car with you."

Rosalie looked at me as we saw the lights coming toward us.

I closed my eyes back at Jensen as the lights were getting closer and closer.

Jared looked back at the door as Gen walked into the room with clean clothes in her arms. "Hey, you done with those and maybe wanna join me?"

Gen grinned back at him as she walked over to the bath tub and sat on the side as Jared sat up. "You look like you are about finished."

"I can stay in here longer."

Gen kissed him on the head then walked out of the bathroom as Jared got out of the bath.

Jared walked out with the towel around him when he stopped when he saw the guy looking back at Gen.

Gen glanced back at Jared.

Jared stepped up, "listen, we don't want any trouble."

The guy looked at Jared then back at Gen, "I just want her."

Jared jumped over infront of Gen, "You need to get the hell out of my house!"

The guy glared back at him, "You don't understand. I need her blood."
