2. Take Me Down

I went back into the main room as everyone had started to set down for dinner. I saw that Jensen was missing from our table and also that one of the bridesmaids from the other table was gone.

I sat down next to Gen as Jared sat down with two drinks.

I pointed to the side door, "I believe we have the first taker of the night."

Jared looked first and saw Jensen fixing his tie while the girl tried combing down her hair.

Gen rolled her eyes as the servers started to bring out the food.

Jensen sat down next to Jared when Juliette walked past our table glaring down at him.

Jared glared back at him, "Did you really have to do that at my sister's wedding?"

Jensen sat back and took a sip of his drink, "We just made out."

I shook my head as the food was placed infront of us.

I looked down at my food as it was fresh veggies and a piece of chicken and steak. I glanced down at Gen's food and saw that she had the same thing.

I glanced up as Juliette was standing up looking out over us.

"I would like to thank everyone for joining us on this amazing day and that tonight you share these memories with us!"

I pushed around my veggies when Gen looked down at me, "Are you not hungry?"

"I rarely eat like this anyone."

Jared glanced back at me, "What do you eat?"

"Raw and vegan mostly." I said back to him.

Jared sat up, "I could see if they have something else."

"No, I ate before I will be good." I reached for my drink when I saw the veins in my arm go black.

I got up and went for the bathroom when I slammed into the bathroom door. I turned around and locked the door as I saw my reflection in the mirror.

"No, not here....I ate beforehand!"

I tried wiping at my eyes but the black veins wouldn't vanish and the blacked out eyes were still there.

I looked back at the mirror.

"This can't be happening; I have fed before I got here..."

Back out in the main room, Jensen looked back over at Jared, "So what is the deal with Cali? How long have you known her?"

Jared cleaned his face with his napkin, "She has been friends with Juliette for the past like 15 years. I know they have been friends for just a super long time but after high school Cali went traveling and my sister went to college."

Gen looked around the room, "Where is Cali at? I thought she would have to give a speech soon?"

Juliette walked over to their table, "Have you seen Cali, she needs to talk."

Gen nodded her head back at the table.

Jensen pointed to the bathroom, "She went that way."

Juliette nodded her head, "Let me go find this girl."

Jensen looked up at her as she went across the floor to the bathroom door.
