Lizzy POV

Oh lord. Today's the day. Most saddening-awful day. Anniversary of Lexi's mom's death. This day every year I go to her grave. By myself. It would be amazing if I didn't go there alone and nobody didn't had to keep her death a secret. Her grave's in the cemetery in Canada so I would fly there with a funeral dress on. I turned sideways to Selena who's still sleeping. Maybe I could bring her. It would mean a lot to me. Aunt Chelsea would get to meet my special girl from heaven. Yup. That was her name. She stirred awake and looked at me. "Hey Sweet." She said softly. I smiled sadly and kissed her cheek. "Whats wrong?" She said. I sighed. "You know what today is?" I asked. She nodded. "Yes it's...ohhh." She said, knowing what I meant. I huffed and huddled my knees together. She held my hand for comfort. "I'm so sorry babe." She said, climbing closer to me. I smiled sadly and held her hand. "It's the anniversary of her death. Every year, I fly back to Canada to see her grave. I always do it alone. And I'm tired of doing it alone with no one not even with her own daughter who accomplished all she dreamed about." I said about to cry. She held me and I laid my head on her shoulder. "She's watching from above sweetie. She's not here but watching over you, her and everybody." She said. That made me feel better. I smiled and she rubbed my hair. "Would it make you a lot better if I came with you?" She asked. It would really do. I cheered. "Yes! Yes! It definitely would!" I said and kissed her cheeks multiple times. She laughed and climbed on top of my lap. I smirked and kissed her passionately and she wrapped her arms around my neck. I rubbed her hair as she kept kissing my neck and lips. We parted and I looked at her. "First...I want you to look fine as fuck in that memorial dress." I growled softly. She flipped her hair back and kissed my lips. Guess that's a yes. After 3 minutes of our make out session, we got ready for the anniversary. Luckily I booked a flight for Canada yesterday. The plane's gonna leave at 9:30 so we packed our stuff, ate breakfast and had our memorial dresses on. As much as I hate the dress, I should show love and respect to Aunt Chelsea.

I looked at the outfit Selena wore. She's absolute stunning in that dress. Me? I just love the large boots. I crept up behind her as she ruffled her hair and brushed herself off in the mirror. She saw me and smirked. "You look nice." I purred in her ear. She turned around and looked at my dress. She looked at me. "Really? The boots?" She said. "What? I gotta look good when I honor my great-Aunt." I joked. She rolled her eyes and chuckled. My phone beeped. It was Lexi calling. I hesitatingly ignored the call. "Ok how are you gonna keep this a secret? By ignoring her calls?" She said sarcastically. I couldn't bring myself to call her and tell her I'm flying back to Canada for...private reasons. "I always tell her I'll be flying back to Canada every September 7th. To be completely honest she hates this day cause it's the day her mom left her when she was 13. Like she's fucking mad she walked out without thinking of her!" I said sounding a little pissed. Selena could see I was and held my head close to hers. "It's ok. Besides her dad told her. He had to lie." She said. I looked at her upset. "I wish no one had to. Not even to Justin." I mumbled. She nodded in agreement and kissed my forehead. I looked at my phone clock. It was 8:30. I quickly grabbed my purse and keys. "Babe! We gotta go!" I told her. She nodded and we grabbed our things and went to my car. It was 9:29. The plane was about to take off. I huffed. Selena looked at me and held my hand. I smiled sadly as the plane loudly rode off. Canada here I come. The plane dropped me and Selena off. We were finally in Canada. Feels good actually except the parts where I wear a stupid funeral dress for this private occasion. We rode in a helicopter and man my sweet boo enjoyed it. We landed back on the ground and the limo drove us to the cemetery. 'This is it' I thought. We got off the limo and walked to the cemetery filled with gravestones and flowers dearly for the dead loved ones. When I was 11, Lexi always believed every Halloween these dead people would come alive as zombies at midnight. I tried to hold in my chuckle to that as me and Selena came upon Aunt Chelsea's stone. It had roses, sunflowers and Lily's on it and showed her lifeline. How long she lived before 2007. I cleared my throat and took out a framed photo. It had her, me and especially Lexi on it. I bent down and put the photo near the flowers. Selena held my hand tight as I prepared what to say. "Aunt Chelsea, you were such an amazing aunt and probably the greatest mom to Lexi. I know that you're here. I know you're listening. You always believed in my dreams as much as my mom did. You were always the first one to be applauding when Lexi tried on a dress and pretended she was already a model. But then she had a dream to be an actress so she act out stuff she seen on TV and you would laugh. I joined in too. And it made you smile and laugh more. As you seen from above, Lexi had a rough time with her ex-husband and he was hurting her physically. You had to see all of that and I know you became heartbroken. If you were here, she wouldn't had to go through it because her mom was there. I'm sorry everybody kept this a secret from her even Justin. Now Lexi hates this day cause she thinks you left her without telling why. She shouldn't believed that kind of lie. But Uncle Brant and everybody couldn't tell it to her face that her supportive loving and beautiful mom left to a new place. A better place with God. You would've liked this beautiful amazing girl next to me that became the love of my life. And she would like to meet you right now." I said while tears welled up from my eyes. Selena walked in front of me while her hand was in mine's. She smiled sadly. "Hi. Mrs. Chelsea. I'm Selena. It's really really great to finally meet you. Lizzy told me so much about you...and it's really awful I didn't get a chance to meet you before. At least I meet you while you're in the sky. I'm very happy to have Lizzy. She's my best friend, my supporter and my own angel from above. I'm blessed to have her in my life, I can't wait till she becomes my future wife. It's so nice to see you." She said as a tear fell from her eye. "We'll miss you forever Aunt Chelsea." I said. More tears fell from my eyes and she hugged me. I hugged back tight as I sobbed on her shoulder. She kissed my cheek as I sniffled. The wind flew pass us. We looked up to the sky. It probably was Aunt Chelsea. I smiled and looked back at Selena. She smiled back and we hugged again. "Let's go home baby." I said and I blew a kiss to the sky. She giggled and took my hand.

Later, our next flight back to LA was tomorrow at 7:00. We got ready and I was happy to take off that funeral dress but the boots are lit. We took off in the limo and back to the airport. Man, I wish to tell Lexi. But all that chick got in her mind is that her loving mother abandoned her and her father.
