8 Weeks of Dating

Lexi POV

I smiled as I kissed Jason's cheek. He wrapped his arm around me. I laid my head on his shoulder as we relaxed in my bedroom together. Daniel was still asleep. He only wakes up at 8am. Right now, it's 7am. These past weeks Daniel is getting more close with Jason. And I'm happy for that. He get excited when he comes to visit. Just what I wanted, a new man in my life would love me forever and get close with my sons. Ronnie was in the other room watching TV, though I kept telling him to keep it down so he won't wake up Daniel. Jason smiled and looked at me. "Should we go check on the boys?" He asked. I smirked. "Yeah but I think they're pretty occupied." I joked. We laughed. My phone beeped. It was the timer. I set my clock to 8am so I'll know Daniel's up. "Mom! Daniel's up now!" I heard Ronnie across the hallway. "Yay!" Jason shouted. I laughed and we went to Daniel's room. Ronnie was patting his back as he laid sleepy on his shoulder. I picked him up and kissed both his cheeks. He giggled. "G-g-good m-m-morning m-m-mommy a-and J-j-Jason!" He said. Jason rubbed his hair. "Good morning kid." He said. He kept giggling at him which made me smile. Ronnie looked at us. "Cmon Mom and Jason! We gotta eat breakfast!" He said. I chuckled. "Ok, young man we'll have breakfast. How about chocolate chip pancakes?!" I asked. He and Daniel cheered. "Y-yay!" He said. I laughed. I always fed Daniel good breakfast with not too much sugar but since he's been a good boy, he deserves it. Ronnie came downstairs holding Daniel while Jason's arm was wrapped around my neck as I kissed him. He quietly smacked my rear. I chuckled and playfully slapped the back of his head. The pancakes were on the table as the boys sat on it. Ronnie picked up a large pancake and tried to give it to Daniel. My jaw dropped. "Ronnie don't feed him the whole pancake! You know he can't eat that much." I told him. Daniel giggled and looked at me. "N-no I-i c-can m-m-mommy! A-a-auntie L-l-Lizzy h-helped m-me p-p-poop e-v-eryday s-so I c-can e-eat b-b-better!" He told me. My jaw dropped. Lizzy helped him eat better? Omg. I oughta thank her a lot. Jason kissed my forehead for comfort. I smiled. "She sure did baby! So I guess it's ok to eat that big pancake as long as you poop ok?" I said. He giggled and nodded. Ronnie chuckled and gave him a spoonful. Damn, it felt a little weird saying that word. But I don't care. My son is getting healthy and that's all that matters...except the part where me and Jason have our valentine date. We kissed and he looked at me. "I'm happy we'll go on a valentine date." He said. I chuckled. "I know. But who's gonna watch Ronnie and Daniel?" I asked worriedly. My brain clicked. It's Kelli. She can babysit them while we go! I smirked. "I think I know who can watch them." I told him. He smirked. I looked at the boys."Boys! Would you like to stay with Auntie Kelli before me and Jason come back?" I asked. Their eyes lit up. "Yes!" They both said. Daniel whimpered. I smiled sadly and rubbed his hair. "W-w-will y-you b-be b-b-back t-today?" He asked, almost a tear falling. I kissed his forehead. "Of course I will sweetie." I said. He smiled and made grabby hands. "H-h-hugs!" He said. We all laughed. I picked him up and hugged him. I multiple kissed his cheeks. I am so glad to be having my valentine date with Jason.

Later in Daniel's room, I put all of Daniel's toys and his medication in his Lion Guard bag. Even made a list of instructions for Kelli to do for him. Ronnie was already getting his phone and tablet. Til my brain clicked again. Shit! I forgot to call Kelli to ask her! I quickly picked up my phone and dialed her. She answered. "Hello?" She said. I smiled. "Hey Kells do you think you could watch Daniel and Ronnie today? I'm going out with Jason." I asked. She sighed. "I'm super sorry Lex! I'm having Valentine's Day with Justin. We're in Laguna beach, California." She said. My smile quickly faded. I smiled sadly. "It's ok Kells. I'll figure something out." I told her and hung up. I put my hands through my hair and groaned loudly. Everyone's too busy to watch Daniel and Ronnie while I go with Jason. I heard a soft knock on the door. It was Jason. "Everything ok?" He said. I nodded my head no. "No! I called Kelli and she can't watch the boys cause she's with Justin! I can't even call Lizzy cause she's still help planning the wedding with Selena! Babe, what am I going to do?!" I said. He hugged me as I cried a little on his shoulder. "I can't leave the boys home alone. What should I do?" I said. He looked at me and rubbed my hair. "I think I got a plan." He whispered to me. I smiled sadly. "What is it?" I asked. He sighed. "Last week my parents flew to Hawaii for Valentine's Day, now they're back here. They can watch them til we come back." He told me. I looked at him. "You sure? Daniel doesn't even know them he'll have a tantrum- He cut me off. "They're not strangers, Lexi. They're my parents. He won't be scared of them plus he loves spending time with me. Trust me." He said. I looked at him for a minute and smiled instantly. I jumped on him and hugged him. He chuckled and hugged back. "Thank you! Thank you so much babe! Now, I gotta get Daniel ready." I said. We both left the room to deal with the boys.

Jason asked his parents if they could watch the boys and they agreed. His mom loves children so this ain't a bad biggie. Luckily, Daniel didn't have no tantrum or breakdown since he didn't know them. I am really thankful for Jason. I don't know what I do without him. Our date was 3 hours long. We all came home laughing and chatting like a true family til we saw someone sitting on the kitchen table. It was a girl. She looked 14. We all was silent. I awkwardly walked up to her. "Um, sweetie. Who are you? How did you get in my house?" I asked her.
She giggled and looked at me. "Because mommy, I'm your daughter. Remember you said before you'd want a daughter with Jason named Tati Scott?" She asked. I slowly nodded. "Well, surprise!" She said and hugged me. I looked back at Jason. He smiled a bit. I chuckled a little and hugged back. Omg I finally have a daughter....with Jason.
