Lizzy POV

I shut my car door and walked to the hospital. I didn't care that paps were taking pics cause all I'm thinking about is Sophia. Lexi said she'll be there in 2 minutes. Surprisingly, she came quickly than I imagined. She caught up to me as we went inside. We saw everybody in the waiting room silent. Aunt Nova and Charley and Micah looked like they been crying. Aunt Vi too while Hollywood comforted her. She saw me and smiled sadly. Uncle Davis was comforting Micah. I looked at aunt Charley. I ran up to her and hugged her. She hugged back. We cried on each other's shoulders. Lexi sat next to Micah and patted his shoulder. I wiped my eyes and hugged aunt Nova. I hugged Uncle Ralph Angel and he hugged back. Then the doctor came. Everybody got up and looked at him. "Are any of you Sophia's parents?" He asked. Uncle Davis and Aunt Charley came up to him without speaking. "Your daughter has a broken leg and a few cuts on her left arm. It'll take about 3 weeks for it to heal. We bandaged the cuts on her arm from the car window. You're lucky she only has a broken leg or she could've gotten brain trauma. Right now, she's sleeping." He said. Everybody smiled a little. I huffed and looked at the hospital tv where they was talking about the accident. I smiled sadly. "Can we see her?" I asked.
"You may." He said politely. I nodded and we all head to her hospital room.

Once I saw her, my heart sunk. Her leg was held up and there was bandages on her arm. She had a tube in her mouth and didn't say anything. Everyone surrounded her bed. Aunt Nova began to start prayer for her. "We're all here baby. We are always here for you. Especially grandpa. God has blessed our family with so much love. He has you in his hands right now. We love you so much baby. Sleep tight." She said while tears fell. I cried a little and Lexi held my hand. Uncle Davis kissed her forehead and rubbed her hair. Everybody walked out. I came up to her and sat on a chair. She was still sleeping. I held her hand. "If you can hear me, move your hand." I whispered. She didn't move at all. I shed a tear. How could this happen? Happen to my family? Lexi patted my shoulder. "She'll be better. I gotta check on the kids." She said. I nodded. She left the room. First my cousin was in an abusive marriage, my longtime girlfriend with lupus and now my little cousin who was like a daughter to me?! But whatever happens, I'll stand by her. That's when the song got in my head. I held her hand a little tight. I closed my eyes as tears fell more. "If your wings are broken

Please borrow mine so yours can open too

Cause I'm gonna stand by you

Even if we breaking down

We can find a way to break through

Even if you can't find heaven

I'll walk through hell with you

Love, you're not alone

Cause I'm gonna stand by you." I sung quietly. I kissed her cheek. I pulled out my phone to text Selena I'll be with her for 3 weeks. There's no way she'll wake up and not see me. She understood as long as I get my stuff packed up for the wedding. The doctor came in with aunt Charley. "Ms. Bieber, we have to do more with Sophia. You have to leave the room." He said. I looked at him. "Why?" I said. He looked at aunt Charley then back to me. "Apparently in the accident, we found out that she hit her head a little. It explain the blood on the shattered glass. So for 3 weeks, we'll do everything we can to make sure there's no brain injury...meaning it might be possible she'll lose memory of the accident." He told me. I felt my mind exploding by the second. There's a possibility she won't remember the accident? I think that's good. I smiled a little. "Ok. But she'll be awake right?" I asked. He nodded. "Yeah. After a night of sleeping, she'll stay for observation." He said. I nodded in understanding. Aunt Charley was so silent. Her eyes were only on her daughter who laid in a hospital bed not speaking. I can tell she was in deep pain. "Are you ok?" I whispered. She slowly nodded and fake smiled. I sighed and hugged her. She hugged back. I left the room as aunt Charley stood by the door and nurses came and surrounded Sophia. Everybody else was occupied with coffee, talking. I said bye to all of them and left the hospital. Paps asked me questions about Sophia. They oughta shut up blabbing about her while she's sedated. I answered one question. "How you feeling about your cousin Sophia? Davis's daughter?" A photographer asked. I looked at him. "I'm praying she'll be better. She's my family and I love her." I told him. He nodded. "God bless you ma'am." He said. I smiled a little and drove off.
