The New Neighbor

Lexi POV

It was past 12pm in the afternoon. I came back from Lizzy and Sel's Engagement Party. It was really fun. And what's cool is that the limo took the soon-to-be married couple home. Rest of us had our own rides. Kelli asked me if I be comfortable being in another wedding after you know what. I wasn't sure. But it did bummed me a little. I don't wanna ruin myself being happy by thinking of my dark times. I sat on the couch with my PJs on. I didn't felt like watching TV. I looked at the small table in front of me. It had two picture frames. One of me and Kopa. And second of me and him at our wedding. I picked up the two frames and looked deeply at them. Thoughts ran through my mind. Honestly, I missed him. I loved him. So much. But I can't let this get to me again. Instead I grabbed my headphones near me and listened to some music. It was Selena's song Love Will Remember. Lizzy told me she wrote this when they broke up long time ago. It was such a beautiful song. I deeply listened to the lyrics as it played. I still looked at the picture frame of me and Kopa. Memories flooded through my brain as the song played. Tears suddenly formed in my eyes. I closed my eyes to let them fall. I know I can't let this go forever. It's apart of my story. But he hurt me so much and I won't ever get back with him. I huffed and looked around. No one here. Lizzy was babysitting Daniel with Selena. More tears fell from my eyes. I took off my headphones. I sniffled and covered my face to cry more. But my door bell ringed. I uncovered my face and quickly wiped my tears. I opened the door to see a tall man with blonde tips in his hair. His eyes looked blue and from his arms he was muscular. He was pretty cute. He smiled. "Hi I'm Jason. I live next door to you and the new neighbor." He said. I giggled and shook his hand. "I'm Lexi." I said. He smiled. "Oh I know who you are. I love your YouTube videos!" He said. I blushed a little. Omg....did I blush? I smiled shyly. "Thanks for stopping by Jason." I said almost closing the door. "Wait!" He said. I reopened it. "You seem lonely in here. Mind if I come in? Keep you company?" He asked. I smiled a little. "Guess so." I said. He came inside and I locked the door. "Nice place." He said. I smiled. "Thanks." I said. He sat on the couch and I sat across from him. "So what do you wanna do?" He asked. I giggled. "Well I definitely never had a stranger in my house- he cut me off by chuckling. I laughed. "But we'll get to know each other." I said. He nodded in agreement.

Lizzy POV

Me and Selena laughed as Daniel tried singing the kiddy songs played on TV. Then he tried to bow. We clapped for his cute performance. "Amazing sweetie!" Selena said. Daniel has gotten close with Sel. He was afraid cause he never seen her before but will as auntie Selena. He was staying here for 3 days cause Lexi has to upload videos and blog stuff. Daniel couldn't be in those vids cause he'll get exposed coming from the future. I watched as he drank his bottle with warm chocolate milk while watching Lion Guard. I smiled. I kissed his chubby cheeks multiple times. He kept giggling. Selena tickled him a lot. He laughed and giggled. "S-s-stop a-a-auntie S-s-s-Sel! That's t-t-too m-m-much!" He said, giggling. She got up off him and I put him on my lap. "Guess what I got you?" I whispered in his ear. He quickly looked at me. "What?" He said anxious to know. Then he saw crayons and markers plus bottles of paint with boards to draw on. He smiled widely. "Ooh!" He said and rushed over to the counter. He didn't care he left his pacifier. "W-w-what d-d-do I-i d-d-draw?" He asked. Selena scoffed. "Anything Dee! Use your creativity!" She said. He smiled and started drawing and painting. I smiled that she told him to be his creative self. She sat on the couch next to me while he was distracted. She kissed my cheek. I wrapped my arm around her neck and kissed her lips. I smiled sadly. She looked at me. "What's wrong?" She said. "I hope our wedding won't bother Lexi. After what happened to her." I told her. She smiled and held my hand. "I'm sure she'll be ok. But no one deserves to go through that." She said. I looked at Daniel. He was giggling and still painting and drawing. Selena noticed it. "Daniel doesn't know don't he?" She said. I nodded my head yes. "Lexi knew he wouldn't handle it well. Besides he's a child. He won't understand." I said. She rubbed my back for comfort. "He got 18 years. He HAS to know." She told me. She's right. Daniel has to know what his father did to his mother. Ooh I forgot about Ronnie. I looked at her. "What about Ronnie?" I said. She smiled. "Ronnie too." She said. My Queen's totally right. They all should know. I smiled and nodded in agreement. "A-a-all d-done!" He said. We got up from the couch. "Can we see the drawing?" I said. He showed two drawings of 3 girls. "That's y-y-you a-a-and a-a-auntie Sel a-a-and t-t-thats m-mommy!" He said and smiled. I giggled. I can tell second one's Lexi cause she's wearing blue and purple. Selena smiled. "You're so creative Dee!" She said. He giggled. "Can I draw more?" He asked. I scoffed. "Course you can sweetie!" I told him. He smiled widely and went back to making more drawings. I smirked at Selena. "Shall we?" I said. She chuckled. "We shall." She said taking my hand as we watched our TV shows.

Lexi POV

For 8 hours, I have gotten to know Jason. He's such a great guy. Also sweet. He even hates guys who are jerks and act like they 5. I even blush at how cute he is. Did I said that again? We laughed as I opened the door for him to leave. He looked at me. I stared at him. His beautiful blue eyes and blonde tips of his hair. We both stared into each other's eyes. Then all of a sudden, he kissed me. My smile quickly faded. I backed away from him. He was confused. "What's wrong?" He said. "It's just....you know...." I said. Then he knew what I meant. "Oh. I'm so sorry." He said. I smiled sadly. "No it's ok. We broke up last year 2016. I'm still taking time." I told him. He looked at me. "I think you ran out of time." He mumbled. We stared deep in eyes. He gently wrapped his hands around my waist. I caressed his cheek. I bit my lip just lost in his eyes. And I wrapped my arms around his neck and we kissed again. But it felt passionate and strong. We kept doing it. I might be a while.....

Lizzy POV

Me and Selena was finished watching Scandal. Good thing Daniel never saw the whole episode. I looked and saw him asleep from drawing a lot. It was too adorable. Selena looked at me with sleepy eyes. "I'll put him to bed. You can go upstairs." I whispered to her. She nodded and got up to go upstairs. I picked Daniel up gently and he was sleeping on my shoulder. I kissed his forehead and put his pacifier in his mouth. Upstairs, me and Selena got guest rooms for two people. Daniel has the first one with a bathroom all in one. His toys were on the floor. I laid him on the bed and wrapped the Spongebob blanket over him. He sucked on the pacifier while sleeping. Too cute! I double-kissed his cheek. He stirred a bit. Thank lord, I gave him his shot injection earlier. Selena was there to calm him down. I walked in our large Queendom bed and climbed under the covers. Selena was already asleep. I kissed her cheek and she laid her head on my chest. I rubbed her hair and kissed her forehead. I felt myself going to sleep.
