Chapter 2

-Shawn's POV-

"Why does that sound so familiar?" Aria asks me. I don't want to tell her that i'm making videos on YouTube. I'm getting big on there and I don't want her to think of me any differently since something will hopefully happen soon. I hope she doesn't find out.

When I met her at Starbucks I had a feeling in my stomach that something could happen between us. I'm scared too love again so I don't even know if I want anything to happen. My last relationship was rough. I was in love with her and she cheated on me multiple times and I don't know why. What makes it even worse is that one of the guys was one of my good friends.

We stop talking around 10pm. I'm just gonna play a couple rounds of Fortnite then i'll go to bed. I ended up falling asleep at 12am, Fortnite is addicting man.

I wake up and check the time, it is currently 8am. I head downstairs and make a bowl of cereal and text Aria.

"Good morning Beautiful :)" I debated if I should actually say that. I then decided that I should probably erase the beautiful part because I don't want to make her uncomfortable. I mean she is beautiful though, I haven't even asked if she has a boyfriend.

She replies immediately and I can't help but smile.

"Why do you look so happy?" My sister asks as she walks into the kitchen.

"Oh I don't know... Life's just better when your happy right?" I said and started walking towards the stairs until Aaliyah stopped me.

"Who's the girl?" She asks me.

I roll my eyes, "Her name is Aria." I said smiling.

"You like her i'm assuming?"

"Aaliyah I've only known her for a day."

"So, love at first sight is a real thing." She said and walks away.

It is now 1:30 in the afternoon and all I've been doing is texting Aria all day and playing Fortnite. I get a text from my best friend asking to hangout at his place. So I head over there. Encase you were wondering, Cameron Dallas is my best friend. I've only known him since I started YouTube, so a year or two but he's been there for me when nobody else has.

Once I get to his house, we go to his gaming room and we play Fortnite.

"So I have a date tonight." He said smiling.

"Really, who?!"

"Her name is Codi." He said and I remember Aria mentioning her before.

"Does she have a friend named Aria by any chance?" I ask.

"Um yeah, you know her?"

"Yeah Aria and I met the other day."

"I'm happy for you, finally moving on." He said patting my back.

"I don't know man, what if I can't do it. What if I pussy out." I said scratching the back of my neck.

"Shawn, not every girl is like Tessa. Tessa was a horrible person, Aria sounds amazing by the way Codi talks about her."

"She is pretty amazing."

"So it's settled." He said pulling out his phone. I give him a confused look.

"What?"

"You and Aria are going on a date. We'll have a double date tonight, we can go bowling." He said smiling then typing. I'm guessing he's texting Codi.

I get a text from Aria a couple minutes later. "A double date ;)" She said. Oh great.

What if I mess up. I haven't been on a date in months and that was with Tessa. Oh gosh, thanks Cameron.
