India was happy. I was happy.
Currently we're preparing for the gender reveal party. I was beyond excited. I always wanted a girl just because I wanted to give her everything. Everything my parents couldn't give me. I wanted to make sure she fulfilled her dreams. I wanted her to be the best she could be minus the distractions in life and the constant bad being thrown around on earth. Lord knows how great I would treat my daughter. I would love her with every ounce of blood in my body.
"Baby"a voice interrupted me. I snapped out my thoughts smiling at my beautiful girlfriend. "Yes dia"
"So ski said he wanted to do the party with my mom so I gave him permission to. Do you wanna come with me to the mall so we could pass time and I could get a dress".

I put my phone down as India came in with a bag of stuff. "You done?" I asked. She nodded rubbing her back like the little pregnant women she is.

"Damn ski nice decorating " I said looking at the living room. He brushed his shoulders as we all chuckled. I saw India drinking something red so I snatched it out her hand. "Is this wine?" I asked her. She groaned "it's cranberry juice" she said snatching it back. I put my hands up in surrender as her friends giggled.
"Ok ok everyone gather around. The young couple come on we don't have all day" ski said tapping the wine glass. I helped India up and we stood next to a locked box. We couldn't take it outside because of dumb rainy Florida weather. I held India's hand and she smiled at me.

India squealed. "Dead inside. Jah play the piano" she said. "Y'all just wanna hear my music"i joked as they laughed and I began playing. On the last note I lifted the piano key and there was a little key. "Outside everyone" ski said acting like a damn Willy wonka.
I took the umbrella and held India close and they key. And as if on que a beautiful rainbow casted upon the sky. India squeezed my. I set the box Down on the wet grass. The rainbow seemed to be reflecting off it. "Esketit" pump whispered anxiously.
"I can't Jah you do it" India said covering her eyes. "Alright " I said but in reality, I was shaking as my hand or the key in and it unlocked the box. Out came a pink ballerina and pink confetti. "A GIRL!" I yelled.
Then India smirked. "What?" I said dancing around. "There's another box" she said giving me another matching box. My eyes widened. "Twins?" I asked tears filling my eyes, she nodded as everyone cheered. She opened the box and a blue child figure came out and blue confetti.
"Jesus a boy". I said huggin her.
"Double trouble shit I ain't finna raise them kids" ski said laughing as she hugged india. That night everyone danced and cheered. While India and I just stared at each other like our life depended on it.
"Jocelyn" she said. My heart dropped. I never thought I would hear that name. "The girls name is going to be Jocelyn Cleo Onfroy. You may choose the boys name " she said.
I hugged her tightly as tears flowed out her eyes. "I love you so much" I whispered. "I love you too"
"And don't think I forgot about y'all " I said kissing her stomache. As she giggled.
I couldn't wait to spend the rest of my life with her. I couldn't wait to grow old with her. I couldn't wait to see my children's first steps and first day of school. I swear if someone ever took that opportunity away from me I would make their life a living hell.
