Jahseh's pov
I was in a hotel as I fumbled with her ring in my hand. I took a sip of the strong alcohol. It's been a year since I seen here. I can't go outside. I haven't seen the twins. They turn one today and I should go. But I'm scared to face her. I'm scared that she has found someone else. Someone who won't hurt her like I did.
But I decided to take a shower and put on something decent to go. I put my blue dreads in a ponytail. I looked at myself in the mirror. It hasn't been the same without her.
But I was going to see my babies today.
I grabbed my car keys and made my way to the place I use to call home. I forgot to take my pills. One of my mistakes. I thought that I would be normal today.
As I drove my leg bobbed up and down. I went to see pink and blue balloons.
I smiled seeing Jaylen hugging Jocelyn as water sprayed them. Stokeley was running around them like a huge baby.
"Dadddy" they both yelled running to me. I laughed and hugged them. "My babies" I cooed kissing them. Jocelyn clung onto my choker as she bit on it. I kissed her chubby cheeks.
"So bro. You gonna go see India. She inside with Lesandro" stokeley said. "Who is lesandro?" I asked.
"Her boyfriend." He mumbled.
I looked down. I wasn't mad. I did this to myself.
"I'm going to put these gifts inside" I said. Stokeley nodded.
India's pov
"Dia" lesandro said as I iced the cake. "Keep quiet damn" I joked as he kissed me. He is my boyfriend but never would he be like Jahseh.
Speaking of him I wondered if he would be coming today. Lesandro followed me as I went to go check outside.
As I did I seen someone placing a gift by the desk. "It's go's over there..." I sucked in a breath as I came face to face with the love of my life. My heart and my headache.
Lesandro crossed his arms. Jahseh looked at Lesandro and then back at me. His eyes flashed a darker brown. He didn't take his medicine. I could tell by the way he keeps tapping his fingers against his thigh and clenching his jaw.
"Jah are you okay?" I asked as he looked kind of dizzy. "Why you care?!" Lesandro said. I rolled my eyes. Jah went upstairs probably to the bathroom. Then I heard a loud noise.
"Jah!"I yelled as I went upstairs he was on the floor with his head in his hands.
"Jah what's wrong?" I asked.
He shook his head looking at the wall. He avoided eye contact with me and then covering his face. "I-i can't see" he whispered.
I chuckled removing his arm from his eyes. "Oh" he said. "Where's your Medicine-
I was cut off with his lips on mine. "I never needed my medicine because you kept me sane" he whispered. "I-I can't Jahseh I have Lesandro" I said.
"Drop that nigga" he said caressing my cheek. "It's not easy like that. You hurt me Jah. You hurt me bad" I said not wanting to revisit that day. "I know. And I came to make it right" he said looking me in my eyes. But I looked away. "Call me if you need me" he mumbled.
He went downstairs.
I followed after. Lesandro wasn't there so I saw stoke. "Do you know where Lesandro went?" I asked.
"He said that he ain't want you anymore because you seem to be to interested in your ex".
I nodded. I can't have anybody. The twins enjoyed their birthdays. My mom nom decided to take them for the weekend so I was alone. I had just finished cleaning up and taking a shower. I laid on my bed looking as my phone was turned on.
Call him.
I wanted to but I didn't want him to think he is off the hook.
He's your bestfriend
He is my bestfriend. So I picked up the phone.
"Hello" his voice said.
"Can you come over I'm alone. I feel-
"I'm on my way princess" he said and hung up.
My heart flutters when he calls me that. A few minutes later I heard footsteps. Jah opened the door. He was shirtless as he pulled of his pants and slid under the covers with me. "What's wrong? " he said stroking my hair.
"Lesandro left" I sighed. "Bum ass nigga" he said bitterly. I turned around being face to face with him. "I can Never make people stay " I said twisting his dreads. He pulled me closer and lifted one of my legs so it was wrapped around his torso.
"I never left baby".
