Summer Changed Me

2 weeks before end

Eren's POV (not that I will change it from him if I will I'll say it)

It's about 2 weeks before freshman year is over for me, currently I was eating breakfast before school. Mikasa my sister, adoptive sister, was getting her backpack, she ate earlier so she had to wait for me, but I don't think she minds. I finished eating, put my dirty plate in the dish washer, went and grabbed my phone and backpack "Come on Eren, we're gonna be late" Mikasa called from downstairs, she always made sure I get to school on time.

Even tho Mikasa and I don't go to the same school, she always walked with me to make sure I came to school safe, she was always overprotective. We got to my school and she hugged me before leaving to her own school, I gave her a warm smile after she let go, I sighed, mustering up any courage that I have left and walked in.

I went to my locker while holding my head down, I opened it and grabbed my math book, I felt a hand on my shoulder and I jumped. "Jesus!" I said as I jumped "Wow Eren sorry" Armin said, Armin was my best friend and to be quite honest my only friend, he had big blue eyes that were always filled with happiness when he saw me and a bit too long yellow hair, it was over his shoulders a bit, he was skinny like me but I think I am a bit more because if you look at me from certain angles you could see a bit of my ribs. "Don't scare me like that Armin" I said to him as I caught my breath "Sorry" he said "It's fine, want to walk to class together?" I asked him, we had almost all of the classes together "Sure" he said with a soft smile, I smiled back and we walked to class while talking. "So Eren do you still have a crush on you know who?" Armin asked, he was referring to Levi Rivaille, the most popular guy in school even tho he was shorter than me, he is 16 while I'm 15 "Armin" I said as I blushed slightly red "Eren you know I'm just joking around" he said as he chuckled lightly "Well what about you? You still have a crush on his friend?" I asked, I was referring to Erwin Smith, he was Levi's friend, their in the same class together, both of them are sophomores while we're freshmen. "Eren!" he got flustered quickly, I laughed slightly as we got to class.

Armin went to his seat and I walked to mine in the back, but since everyone except Armin picked on me, one of my bullies put a foot in my way and I feel, I'm just glad I caught myself with my hands, but it was still painful on both my palms and knees. I got up before the teacher came in and quickly sat at my desk, as the class started, we got reminded that next week was the nurse check up before summer (A/N don't know if any high school does this but in here it does) I quickly got nervous, because whenever it was a nurse check up, students always find a way to get into the nurses office when I would be in there and would take my clothes, I would always have to take a towel from the nurses office and get my clothes from the bullies that took them from me. I don't have a good figure and I don't like it when they do that, I also have a bit longer hair than a boy should have, also I wear contacts to make my eyes seem yellow when actually their this sea green mixed with blue with tiny bits of golden in them, I never was one for change but I think I might change myself when school is over.

The rest of class was boring so I just sketched a bit, the rest of the school day was me getting picked on and beat up for looking like a girl, being pathetic and whatever they come up with and boring classes except when lunch came, I talked to Armin then. When school ended for the day, I went home and did my homework, I'm glad that today was friday, it means I can hang out with Mikasa and Armin for the weekend.

//Big time skip to next Tuesday because I'm lazy as shit//

I was in my room putting extra clothes in my backpack so I would be able to avoid anymore embarrassment when I go to the nurses office. I grabbed my backpack and went to school, Mikasa walked with me like she does every day, we talked about random things until we got to my school. Mikasa doesn't know how school is for me and she doesn't know about the bruises I hide, I don't tell her because I don't want her to baby me. I went to my locker grabbed my books and went to class, I had my backpack with me with my extra clothes, anyway class started but I wasn't paying attention until "Students that have last names from r-z please go to the nurses office" that was the principle from the speaker, I grabbed my things and my backpack and walked to the nurses office. While walking I realised that the principle said from r-z which means-I got to the front of the nurses office and saw Levi, my heart skipped a beat. He looked at me for a moment when I walked in, he made a 'tch' noise and went back to talking to his friends. I walked past them while blushing a bit and accidently bumped into someone, it was one of my bullies, shit "Look at what we got here, I can't wait to see your little show, I got you a special towel too" he laughed as he walked away from me, too bad you won't see me in it, I smirked to myself and sat down while waiting for my turn. I saw Levi go in first but he didn't leave yet, I guess he's waiting for Erwin but when Erwin came back they both waited, am I forgetting someone? Oh wait Hange Zoë, she's last isn't she? So are they waiting just so they can skip class? I guess so. "Eren Yeager" I heard the nurse call my name, I got up and went inside the nurses office with my backpack, I got my clothes off except my boxers and she did a routine check up, she ignored my bruised body because she knows I get picked on and beaten up, she gave me a cream for the bruises a while back and it helps, so the bruises are faded each day "Okay Eren everything seems fine, you can put your clothes on" she said with a warm smile.

I turned to grab my clothes but what do you know their gone, I sighed "Again?" she asked softly, disappointed in the other students "Yeah but it's fine, I packed extra clothes this time" I said and put on the clothes that were in my backpack. She smiled as I grabbed my backpack to go, but then I saw a pink towel, so that's what he meant, I grabbed the towel and walked out of the office, fully clothed. As I walked out I saw everyone with their phones out except Levi, Erwin and Hange of course, but when they saw me walk out fully clothed they dropped their hands down, I smirked slightly "I think you might need this more than me" I said as I threw the towel on the bully from earlier while walking past him. Everyone was shocked, I took a glance back and saw Levi slightly smirking with his arms crossed and his eyes closed, I smiled as I continued walking to my next class.

The day passed quickly with me and Armin hanging out and me avoiding any more bullies. Just a week and a half left and it's summer, I just have to be patient.
