Summer Changed Me

Volleyball club? (part 1)

I woke up at 6:30 am, got out of bed, stretched then went to the bathroom, I got my shirt off and then unwrapped my stomach, I finished stripping and showered. I got out of the shower after finishing and wrapped a towel around my waist, I opened the door slightly and checked if Mikasa was out there, she wasn't so I quickly went to my room with the dirty bandages in hand. I threw the bandages out, I put on the cream again then wrapped up my stomach with clean bandages then got clean clothes on, I put on blue shorts that went to my knees, a white t-shirt and a black jacket then I went downstairs.

I greeted Mikasa as she put 2 plates with food on them, we ate together and then I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth when I finished it was 7:30 am, I went and put on my dark blue sneakers, grabbed my backpack and went with Mikasa, she drove me to school.

I got out of the car, said bye to Mikasa, she drove off to her school. I looked around and saw only 2-3 people, I looked at my phone and saw it was only 7:41 am, I came a bit earlier than I thought, that's why there's only 2-3 people. I decided to just go sit under a tree and relax a bit until more people came to school.

A few moments later, I felt someone tap my shoulder, I opened my eyes but got slightly blinded by the sun, it took me a moment to get my eyes used to the light and then I could see the person "Hey Eren" it was Krista "Oh hi Krista" I said and got up. "It's time to go inside" she said sweetly "Alright" I said and we walked inside together "Oh right I almost forgot to mention" Krista said as we reached my locker "Hm? What?" I asked "It's about Armin" she said "Now that you mention it, I haven't seen him at all" I said while opening my locker "Yeah it's because he's sick, I went to pick him up with Ymir because we live next to him and his grandfather opened and said he won't be going to school today, but he also gave me this and told to give it to you, it's from Armin" she said while handing me a box it was a bit thin but wide "Okay thank you for telling me Krista" I said as I took the box "No problem, I'm gonna go to get my books now c ya Eren" she said "Bye Krista" I said and she walked off.

I grabbed my art book from my locker and put it in my backpack, I put my backpack over my shoulder then shut my locker and locked it. I looked at the box I was given and opened it, there was another smaller box inside, I opened it and there was a black bracelet inside it, it was hand made, braided and with a small howling wolf charm on it, I made it during summer, I made it for Levi, but since I lose things, small things usually, easily I gave it to Armin for safe keeping, I told Armin to bring it to school today so he could give it back yesterday.

Flashback after Mikasa went to work and Eren was in bed relaxing with the towels on him

I was listening to music when I sent a text to Armin "Could you please bring that bracelet to school tomorrow, the one I made for Levi?" I texted, he replied back pretty quickly "Sure, are you gonna give it to him?" he asked "No I'm gonna give it to Connie" I texted back "Haha..very funny" he replied "Of course I'm gonna give it to Levi" I said back "I'll bring it" he responded.

End of flashback

There was a notebook inside the bigger box as well, I pulled it out and opened it, there was a note inside, the notebook was blank, no writing, no drawings, no lines and no squares just a blank notebook, I took the note out and read it:

Eren I know you've been wanting a new notebook so you could sketch so I looked through some of my old notebooks and found this one. I don't mind nor do I need it so you can take it and use it for your hobby.

Armin

Heh..thanks Armin, I put the notebook in my backpack, closed the smaller box and put it in my backpack as well then threw out the bigger box. I felt someone watching me, I looked around and spotted Levi, I smiled to him softly with a small wave before walking to class. I sat down in my usual seat and just waited until the teacher came, he walked into class when the bell rang then told us our assignments and I got to work.
