Summer Changed Me

Hanging out?

I got up at 6:30 again this morning, yawned and stretched as I got out of bed, I walked to my closet as I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. I changed into a black t-shirt, dark blue skinny jeans, my blue jacket and got on my black converse and since it's still slightly summer and the sun is shinning outside I decided to grab my sunglasses and put them on the top of my head. I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth then I went to the dinning room where I saw Mikasa putting 2 bowls with cereal on the table "Morning Mika" I said as I walked "Morning Eren" she greeted me back and I sat down when she went to the kitchen for the milk. She brought the milk and poured some in her bowl then gave me the milk "Thanks" I said and poured the milk into my bowl. We ate together then talked after I cleaned the empty bowls, then it was time to go to school, it only seemed like we talked for minutes before we realized we have been talking for about an hour. I got my backpack and got into the passenger seat of Mikasa's car, she got in the drivers seat as I lowered my sunglasses on my nose and pressing them up so they wouldn't fall off then we were off.

She dropped me off at my school, I got out of the car, said goodbye and she drove off to her school. I walked to Armin who was talking to Connie and Sasha at the school doors as I saw Levi leaning on his car with his friends Hange and Erwin, it seems like Hange was telling them something when he glanced at me, I stopped walking, faced him slightly, lowered my sunglasses slightly and winked at him then continued walking to Armin and the 2 others. Armin spotted me and called me out "Hey Eren" I got to them "Hey Armin, Connie, Sasha" I greeted him and the others "Seems like you came early today" Armin said "Yeah I guess" I said as I put my sunglasses on my head "Hey look it's the new girls" Sasha said as she pointed to someone "Huh? What new girls?" I asked as I looked at the direction she was pointing at "I heard some teachers talking about someone transferring to our school" Connie said. I saw 2 girls one taller then the other, the shorter one had blonde short hair with big light blue eyes and a cheerful smile on her face, the other, taller girl had dark brown gray looking hair with almost matching brown eyes, she looked unamused with her arm around the shorter ones waist protective like. They walked up to us "Hi there my name is Sasha" Sasha was first to greet them "Hi Sasha my name is Krista" the shorter one with blonde hair said a bit shyly while the other taller just looked at us "Hey my name is Eren" I introduced myself as I held out my hand to Krista, she shook my hand and nodded "I'm Connie" Connie was next to speak then Armin "Hi I'm Armin" he said and shook Krista's hand "And you are?" I asked the taller one, she looked at me and scoffed slightly as she said "I'm Ymir" "Nice to meet you both, you're new right?" Sasha asked "Yeah we just transfered here, we're sophomores" Krista said softly "That's nice means you'll be with us in some classes" Armin said with a warm smile towards them.

The bell rang "Oh right that reminds me, Armin I need to talk to you privately for a bit" I said as we walked inside "We need to get our class sheets, can someone show us where we can get them?" Krista asked "We can" Sasha jumped as she grabbed Connie's hand, I think I saw a faint blush on him just then before he asked "We can?" "Come on Connie" Sasha continued "Alright" he said then faced me and Armin "Bye guys see ya later" Connie said then Sasha said bye and so did Krista, Ymir just waited while looking around then they left and me and Armin walked to my locker.

"So what do you need to talk to me about?" Armin asked as we came up to my locker "I need you to cover for me after school" I said as I opened my locker and grabbed my science text book and put it in my backpack "Huh?" he was confused. "I told Mikasa I would be going to the park with you after school and since I know she will come check up on me to see if I'm lying which I am since I'm gonna go somewhere else" I explained "Oh, I guess I can do that but where are you going then?" Armin asked again "I'm planing to go check out a new cafe at 3rd on Rose street" I said, I didn't lie I just let out the fact that I might go with Levi. "But why not just tell her then?" he asked "You know how she is, she wouldn't let me go anywhere alone" I said as I locked my locker. "Right, alright I'll help you" he said "Thanks Armin" I hugged him and he returned the hug, I felt eyes on us so I looked around and saw Levi staring at us, I think I saw a glint of jealousy in his eyes, I smirked and let go of Armin "I need to get to my locker so I won't be late for class Eren so c ya" he said "Alright c ya Armin" I said and he ran off to his locker, I took another glance at Levi and saw him looking at Armin while he ran off, I chuckled as I started going to the science classroom, I saw him glance at me then look away as I went to class.
