The Short Love Between Jean and Rob

Jean's P.O.V

I can't believe it, It's actually two weeks before prom!

Though, I haven't heard from Rob since after Valentines or something.
Hmm, I'm worried, I don't feel good about this, I really miss him...

"Jean? You still listening? I was talking about prom dresses" Kayla Interrupted my thoughts.

"Oh, sorry, I was thinking about Rob, still nothing from him" I admitted..

Kayla looked worried and just wrapped her arms around me, slowly telling me that It's gonna be alright.

Incase you're wondering, Athena's not here, she's sick.
She catched a really bad fever, which worried us for a bit, she was confined just last year, it was November to December, she stayed there for almost two weeks I guess?.

"I think you're worrying too much, Rob is probably just busy, also, didn't he say, he's fine now!" Kayla reassured.

It didn't seemed right to me, but I brushed it off.
I can't really say anything yet since I can't confirm things or reject some ideas.

I'm as clueless as everyone, I felt my phone vibrate.
We have to put it on that mode since if a teacher hears our phone make a sound, they will confiscate it and will end up search EVERYONE'S bags.

It'll look like the airport Immigration/security thingy.
I forgot what Athena called it.
I've never actually got that far in an airport.

But one thing is for sure, Athena absolutely hated other country's immigration officers, she's not being racist, it's just that they are particularly mean and sour to her.

She could just stand around and the immigration officer would ask her (harshly and in a rude manner) if that's ACTUALLY her dad.
Even though they look alot like each other..also...the legal information about that is actually with them...they give it everytime she goes out of country just because of THOSE kind of officers.

But back to the topic, I have no one else to talk to about Rob, thank the lord that Kayla is here with me.

"But I AM curious why Rob is so persistent on not coming to see you personally, is he afraid that maybe you don't look like the picture you're using? Or what?" Kayla stated .

That got me thinking too, I don't know, but If he's protecting something or someone, It's not him.

The discussion ended and we got to go to the canteen, yum, foods.
I looked at the food that they are serving today, Oh! Hotdogs! That's nice I guess, but If Athena is here, she'll puke, she once stated  "If It's not bratwurst, no thank you! Hotdogs taste bad and has a weird texture or feeling when they are just plain and cold, they need ketchup or something to actually taste normal "

To be honest, I don't disagree, hotdogs taste DISGUSTING when they are not freshly cooked, unlike bratwurst, bratwurst actually still taste the same without condiments or being hot, also, the texture doesn't get wrinkly and soft when they are cold.

Also, hotdogs leaves a stain of its artificial coloring on stuffs, rice, buns, etc.

After I ordered one cup of energy drink and one pack of biscuit, I went to the bathroom, I already paid and Kayla was there to get it for me.

I looked at my phone and saw the screen, not texts or calls from Rob yet.
I miss him...I miss his encouraging words, his sweetness, his jokes..everything.
I love him.

"Oh, hey Jean" Tricia looked surprised but at the same time indifferent.

"Hey Tricia...how are you and Jason?.." I asked.

"I don't know, he wanted to get back together with me, but then he suddenly wanted to be with my best friend, but now, my best friend is in a relationship with Jason's best friend! I don't know anymore" she explained to me, ugh, such a complicated situation.

"You still love him..don't you?" I asked.

".....yes" she answered in a timid manner.
"Well, we can't do anything about it, If you're meant to be together, destiny would find a way" I said before going out of the bathroom.

I looked at all the tables, oh, there she is.
I sat down next to Kayla and just ate my food while talking to her, It's been a long time since I spoke to her THIS much.

But can you blame me? Kayla had always been busy, she's the top student in our class, she needs to keep it that way for her parents.

"Jean, you know, It's nice to actually meet you, Marie, and Athena, all three of you has been nothing but be extremely supportive with me and my success, unlike some people or 'friends' where the moment you reach the top, they try to throw you to the edge and 'Dethrone' you and even cut you out of the friendship" Kayla said, I know exactly who she's referring to, Ann did EXACTLY what Kayla said, that's why they have such a strained relationship.
