My beg was just as comfortable as it looked and I've never slept better. An alarm clock woke me up the next morning, surprising me and leaving me awkward-ed and disoriented. There was yet another note stuck to the clock face, this one from Eva.
School starts at 9. Dress in something nice. Ask Tom to drive ya
Gracie
After meeting her last night, I decided I didn't like Gracie. She was constantly hankering for dad's attention and it seemed the dislike was mutual. For some unknown reason she seemed to believe that I was her rival when it came to Dad, and her eye twitched whenever he would try and hug me. I say try because I still wasn't sure if he had ulterior motives.
I was buzzing with excitement, nerves and caffeine as I opened the massive doors leading to something I don't think I could I ever be prepared for. I had a walk in wardrobe at least half the size of my room. And it's a big room. Lining the walls were racks and racks of clothes, drawers of underwear that, in my mind, just resembled scraps of fabric. I rushed from one end to the other, running my hands over the fine materials that formed my new clothes.
I finally decided on an outfit of simple black jeggings and a white crop-top matched with a pair of brown combat boots. I was shocked to see a leather rucksack sitting by my desk with a binder and some notebooks in it. There was also a beautiful matching leather pencil-case filled to bursting with colourful pens and pencils.
Grabbing all my stuff I began bounding down the stairs, buzzing with more excitement. My heart dropped when I saw Dad and Gracie flirting with each other and exchanging the odd kiss here and there at the table. Great, that just ruined my appetite. I slowly walked towards the fridge, hoping to at least make myself a cup of tea without being noticed.
Of course, knowing my luck, that never happened.
"Summer!" I heard a nasally whine come from the breakfast bar, I instantly recognized it as Gracie. "I thought I told you to put something nice on!"
Gracie and I debated what was considered nice and what wasn't for the best part of ten minutes, until I totally won by telling her about the massive line between nice and Vegas Barbie doll. Of course she will never admit I was right, and neither will Dad. I've always seen my dad getting his own way when it came to women but I have to say, with this girl he is whipped. Like, I've seen cream less whipped than him. Kim Kardashian's stylist would undoubtedly be less whipped than him. He obeys Gracie like she's some kind of queen. And she may as well be, in his eyes. Which worries me. I don't want his one serious relationship to be with someone like Gracie.
Getting to school was a mission. I refused to let Thomas drive me so, being the unreasonably stubborn person I am, I insisted on walking.
Yeah, that failed.
It started off well, I was enjoying the scenery, downloading apps on my new phone. Imagining being the most popular girl in school and having boys begging at my feet, and shuddering afterward. Every boy I know would look up your skirt if they were anywhere near your feet. But the problem was, I enjoyed the scenery too much, downloaded a few to many apps, day dreamed too much.
And now I'm lost.

Hi everyone!
Sorry this chapter is so short, writers block is a bitch. Plus, this is kind of a filler. Like, there is gonna be looooaaadds happening in the next chapter.
Also, sorry if in any past chapters I have called Gracie Eva. Like, don't ask why, but whenever I think of her I think of the name Eva. I should probably just re-name her to Eva but that would confuse me. I'm pretty derpy like that.
((Sorry for any spelling/ grammar mistakes))
