As Taylor drove them towards wherever they were heading Karlie let out a light chuckle to herself, earning a quick glance from Taylor.

I've always been taught not to speak to strangers, let alone get in a car with them and stay over at their house. Then again, it's no different than how any of my hookups go - you meet a pretty girl at a club and then go back to their place. I haven't been murdered yet, Karlie thinks with a smile on her face.

After 10 minutes the Range Rover pulls into a parking spot right outside an all-night diner. As mundane as the place was with its flickering neon sign, Karlie couldn't help but feel excited, it was just like the ones you see in the movies.

Taylor hops out of the car before going around to Karlies side and opening her door for her. Even though Karlie was freakishly tall, Taylor still extended her hand for the taller woman to help her out the car. Gratefully, Karlie took the hand and beaver herself out of the car. For a moment when their hands touched, they looked at each others eyes for a split second - a little sparkle was apparent in Taylor and Karlies eyes.

Quickly, Taylor let go of Karlie's hand and cleared her throat before looking at her shoes and waiting for Karlie to finish composing herself.

The smaller blonde woman led and was shadowed by the taller blonde woman.

The diner was completely empty other than the man behind the counter. He looked young and had a charming smile that spread dimples across his face and carried green eyes like Karlie did.

The boy had messy, curly hair that over shadowed the rest of his features.

He can't be more than 20, surely Karlie thought to herself. She herself was 22.

"How you doing, mate?" The boy exclaimed with a smile on his face directed at Taylor. They clearly knew each other.

"I'm good, Harry" Taylor replies, not as excited as he was.

The boy continues to smile (you'd think he's in love with her the way he grins at her), "It's been a while since you've been here, 7 months if I'm correct".

"Yeah" she mumbles looking at her nails nervously.

"Well have a seat and let me know what you want, babe" Harry replies in the most British accent. The conversation was so fascinating to Karlie that she didn't even realised how British he was.

They sat at a table in the far corner of the Diner.

Taylor had ordered her usual cup of coffee and a grilled cheese sandwich and Karlie ordered a glass of water with a spinach omelet.

Hmmmm, healthy Taylor thought.

Karlie looked at Taylor who shifted nervously in her seat as she locked eyes with Karlie again.

To try and make things more comfortable Taylor started asking questions, and soon in enough they were practically playing 21 questions, except it was just Taylor doing the asking and there was definitely more than 21 questions.

They sat there chatting about Karlies life until the young boy bright over their food.

"Thanks" the both said in synchrony before bursting out with laughter. They don't know why it was funny, it just was.

As the continued their meal, Taylor recapped everything she had learnt about Karlie so far; her name is Karlie Kloss, she is 22 years old, she had 3 sisters who lived in New York and had a dog but left it with them back in New York and she had just moved to Los Angeles literally a day ago.

"So, what prompted the move", Taylor asks sipping on her hot coffee. She really needed the caffeine after the week she's had.

"Well I'm basically a junior lawyer and I was working at a firm in New York, but I wasn't getting anywhere. So, I thought I'd take a chance and move here. Eventually, I came here to go house hunting 6 months ago and for a job interview at Specter Litt, they are this huge law firm here and are based on the 13th floor of "The Smith" building", Karlie said not even pausing.
