"So, you can stay in the guest bedroom Kar, considering I turned the third bedroom into my office, and you're only other choice is my bed", Taylor says jokingly.

"Also, is it alright that I call you Kar?".

"Sure is, Tay", Karlie said, giving a smile back and putting an emphasis on the 'Tay'.

Taylor took Karlie by the hand and led her up the stairs of her beautiful house. Karlie had never seen anything quite like it; the place was modern but antique. Almost the whole house was furnished with sleek and wooden oak floors. There were amazingly abstract paintings hung everywhere that conveyed a deeper message when you started at for longer and in the right way. Sort of like Taylor, she though glancing up at the girl as they reached the top of the stairs.

Before showing her to the guest bedroom where she was going to be sleeping, she showed her to the shared bathroom first.

"This is your bathroom... and kind of mine because the water supply in my ensuite is broken", said Taylor, hoping the taller girl wouldn't mind sharing it for less than a day.

Karlie still hadn't seen the guest bedroom yet as Taylor let her into her room, the master bedroom. To say it was beautiful was an understatement, it was the feeling you got when you see instant beauty that is captured by the eye and remains there for the whole of time - it should never been tampered with. Karlie felt that kind of feeling for the girl too, she was special and bubbly, and Karlie had never seen anything like it. Her house reflected herself.

A bit confused as to where they were going, Taylor led her through a set of doors in the bedroom and it was a huge walk-in closet. It was full of every type of article of clothing you could imagine, hundreds of different handbags, T shirts that reflected the colours of the rainbow as they progressed from left to right (the woman was clearly organised if everything was colour coded). There was a whole section for shoes - expensive shoes. Karlie was in awe, despite having a walk-in closet in her house, it wasn't filled like this. In hers, everything was black, black and black. Oh, and black.

Following suit, she followed the house owner to the back of the closet who pulled out a draw and grabbed a pair of black shorts, and out of another draw, a plain white t-shirt.

"Here, you can wear these to sleep in".

"Thanks", Karlie mumbled, still staring at all the magnificent dresses.

As Karlie went to change in the guest bedroom which she had figured out where it was by herself, Taylor was in her own bedroom looking for a spare toothbrush the other girl could use. Soon enough, she found one.

Taylor went to the guest bedroom to give her the toothbrush, but much to her surprise she wasn't in there. In the distance she heard water running in a steady stream.

Ahhhh, the bathroom.

Karlie cleaned the last of the makeup off of her face, then looked at Taylor who gazed at her in astonishment, she had butterflies in her stomach. The green-eyed girl looked perfect even without any makeup on. Wow.

Realising she'd been staring she quickly said, "I found you a toothbrush", and handed it over, before grabbing her own toothbrush that was in the bathroom already.

Karlie looked over at the girl who hadn't even changed her clothes yet, what an odd order to do things in.

In all honesty, Taylor just wanted to be in the same room with her for a little while longer before they both went to bed.

They brushed their teeth in silence for a couple of minutes and Taylor washed off her makeup, and Karlie just stood their awkwardly watching her, wondering what her life story was. Sometimes, she'd look at herself in the mirror and eventually realised that the top was really sheer and you could basically see her nipples. Karlie thought this was funny. Was this Taylor's creepy plan all along, Karlie let out a small laugh that Taylor thankfully didn't hear.
