"Are you sure this is a good idea, Tay?" Selena asked in a concerned manner.

"I don't know," she admitted: "All I know is that I want her to get better and it's clearly not happening. She was so great and then suddenly she relapsed - and not just with alcohol Sel, she was on drugs too," she said sadly.

Selena gave her best friend a quick hug, "You did your best but she needs professional help. She's not going to like it at first, but I think she loves you enough to agree to it because she can see that it's impacting your life too."

"I hope so."

It had been a week since the incident had taken place where Taylor had found Karlie close to passed out at the diner, her veins pumped with alcoholic beverages and harmful substances.

Karlie had gone out to the studio today, but in general she hadn't been in the house a lot since that night. It seemed like she had a plethora of excuses as to why she had to leave and it had gotten to the point where Taylor would got to bed without the taller girl and wake up beside her - but she would quickly leave again. They barely spoke and it seemed that they both knew a long talk was overdue.

The front door clicked, indicating that Karlie had just returned from the studio. Usually Taylor was asleep at this point, she had decided to stay up and drink wine with Selena instead - having some much needed girl time.

They had been sat in the dark bedroom with the TV on, but Taylor had now muted it, hoping to have the element of surprise so she could ambush Karlie and talk to her.

The light switched on and Karlie almost had a heart attack when she was met with the sight of the two girls, "Jesus fucking Christ!" She exclaimed with a hand over her heart.

"Hey, babe," Taylor said with a slight smirk.

"Why are you up so late. It's..." and she paused to check the time in her phone. "Two am."

"Me and Sel were just catching up, also I wanted to talk to you and considering this is the only time you're at home, I decided to seize the opportunity," Taylor explained.

"What do you want to talk about?" She asked in a skeptical voice.

"I think it might be best if you leave first," the blonde said to her best friend who just nodded and gathered her things before leaving. Giving both of them a quick hug and farewell just before doing so.

Karlie changed into a white t-shirt and black shorts for nightwear and then took a seat beside her girlfriend.

"What do you want to talk about?" She asked , nervously chewing on her nails as she said the question.

"I'm worried about you Kar. I love you and...why are you smiling?"

"I like it when you say you love me," she giggled bit the innocent like laugh was making Taylor's job harder.

"As I was saying, I'm worried about you-"

"I've already apologised like twenty times for the other night, that's not going to happen again," The brunette cut Taylor off.
