16. Red Carpet Love

Taylor walked into the house and was met by the sight of a sprawled out Karlie, lying on the sofa in her sweats, watching '50 Shades Of Grey'.

"Hey," she whispers as the film has a silent moment.

"Shit! You scared me," Karlie said, jumping up, pausing the film and giving her girlfriend a death stare.

Nonetheless, Taylor walked towards the lawyer on the sofa and placed a soft kiss on her lips that was reciprocated.

"Can't be that mad if you kissed me back," Taylor laughs, before walking away.

"Shut up. I could never be mad at you," she replied, grabbing the hem of the singers shirt and pulling her back towards the sofa and kissing her again, but deeper.

"Where were you?" The emerald eyed girl inquired as Taylor sat next to her on the couch.

"Jack said he had exciting news so I met with him for breakfast so he could tell me."

"How exciting is the news?"

"Let's just say it's a good thing you're watching 50 Shades Of Grey right now," she giggles, trying not to give in and share the secret.

"Tay! Please just tell me the younger girl begs."

"They want to use the song we did together on the 50 Shades Darker soundtrack!" She almost screams, looking into equally excited eyes.

"What!? That's so great. It's a huge movie, how did he even manage to get us on the soundtrack?" Karlie asks.

"Apparently they really wanted me on it so they reached out to my label. My label reached out to Jack because they knew we were working on new material - then he just sent them the track and they loved it. Aahhhhh I'm so excited! This is going to be huge for us!"

"When does the soundtrack come out?"

Taylor racks her brain as she tried to recall what Jack had told her over breakfast earlier.

"I'm pretty sure he said it comes out in two weeks, just a day before the film premieres - which we're invited to by the way, we were the last added to the album."

"It also helps that you're Taylor 'i have a number one album, came out as bisexual on live TV, and threatened a model' Swift," Karlie says mockingly as Taylor just elbows her in the ribs.

All of sudden the older girl remembers something and races back out to her car.

"What the hell" Karlie lets out at the sight of the other girl running like a lunatic.

She walks back towards her girlfriend with her hands behind her back and Karlie was naturally interested in what it was straight away.

"Happy 2 week anniversary, honey," Taylor says through a smile and then pulling a bouquet of roses from behind her back and a box of chocolates in the other hand.

"No!" Karlie says grumpily and turning her back on the gesture.

"Huh?" the smaller girl questions, confused as to why anyone would decline such a romantic gesture.

Karlie sighs and then turns around, "I didn't get you anything so it's not fair."

Taylor simply laughs, causing Karlie to scowl and then turn back around.

"Hey, just think of it as my two month anniversary gift. Remember how we agreed no gifts and you got me one. In fact I'm wearing the necklace right now," The ocean eyed singer says, walking towards Karlies back and leaning over to kiss her cheek. The girl blushed at the kiss and the turned around and pulled her in for a proper kiss.
