Conor
''You're fucking crazy!'' Zach screamed, throwing his arms in the air.
Dramatically.
''What's the big deal? Leah's probably going to die, life goes on.''
I said, turning to walk towards my bedroom.
''You pretended to care!!''
''I did care.''
''You didn't!!!''
''I stopped caring, Zach. What the fuck do you want me to say?'' I snapped.
I felt Zach watching me, as I slung my bag over my shoulders and pulled on my ray bans, his eyes fiery with hate.
''What is wrong with you, Conor? What the hell is wrong with you? You left her and she went into coma! You left her and now she's going to fucking-
Me.Me.Me. It's all my fucking fault.
I took Zach by the collar and slammed his body against the wall, his back making a deadly noise as it made contact with the brick wall, I took my fist to swing a punch-
''Conor, stop!''
Leah. That was by no mistake, Leah's voice.
And from the doorway, a figure emerged. Pale but dark. Angry but calm.
''Leah.'' .
Her face was twisted in agony and anger, her hair was matted with blood and sweat.
She was no longer beautiful.
''Conor.'' She kept saying.
Her voice became distorted and her face fell, like was melting wax. Her voice sank lower, until she disappeared into the ground
''Leah!!'' I screamed and ran to the doorway.
I fell on my knees.
Where was she?
Leah!
My hands hit the floor clumsily, in an attempt to retrieve her, to pull back her lifeless body out of the ground.
Come back.
Leah, come back!
''Conor!! Stop!! Stop this madness!!!''
I looked up at him.
''Leah, she-she melted into the ground I need to get her back'' I cried, desperately.
''Conor!!! Leah was never here, stop it!!! Just stop this craziness.'' I looked down at my bloody hands. She must have been here. Who did I see?
I stood up and cleared my throat.
''I'm going to school.'' I mumbled before storming out of my bedroom door. Zach kept close behind me, and followed me to the kitchen.
''It's been 2 months'' Zach whispered, from behind me.
''I know. I'm moving on.''I said, equally as quiet.
''Melissa'' Zach said, annoyed.
I nodded.
It was the only way I could forgive myself. I had to forget about her.
''Leah's never going to wake up.'' I scoffed at his anger.
''Yeah, It's been confirmed. And you know why she's never going to wake up?'' Zach questioned me, his cold voice dripping with accusation. He didn't wait for me to reply.
''Because she has no reason to.''
