Conor

''Is she in there?''

Teya shook her head, and I sighed in frustration. It had been 45 minutes since we last saw Leah, and school was nearly over.

''Where would she have gone??'' I huffed.

''I dunno. Call her, maybe?''

Oh yeah.

''Thanks, Tey'' I said, as I slipped my phone out of her pocket.

I dialed her number and waited for her to pick up. It once rung before she answered.

''Hey, Le-

''Not talking, leave me alone'' She said, and hung up.

What?

Did she just-?

''What the hell!'' I exclaimed.

''Woah, keep it down! What happened?'' Teya asked.

''She said she wasn't talking, that I should leave her alone''

Teya frowned.

''Tell me it's not about the cancer of the voice thing.'' She said, rubbing her temples.

''NO! I think-'' I couldn't be sure. Leah was so serious it was hard to tell if she was really upset over it or not.

''You took it to far, big boy'' Teya said shaking her head.

''Hey, you started it!'' I spat back.

''Mmmhm I quote: 'Perhaps it's the cancer of the Voice?''' Teya smiled wickedly.

''Thats-thats stupid'' I stammered. ''I pretty sure she didn't take any of it seriously."

''You better hope so. But I doubt it.'' Teya said, rubbing her chin in deep thought.

''Maybe someone did something to her?'' She offered.

I clenched my fists.

''Oh, they wouldn't dare'' I whispered.

''I would.'' A voice said. And I turned to come face to face with Barbie.

I swear all it would take was a blast of sunlight and that plastic face of hers would melt like fucking candlewax.

''Get lost, Brittany'' I snarled.

''Oh, I would love to get lost with you Conor'' She whispered in my ear.

I strongly fought the urge not to shiver at the feeling of her hot breath against my skin. I hated that I felt this way.

''I said get lost.'' I mumbled, my eyes threatening to shut close.

''You like that, don't you'' She purred.

''I can't believe you!'' I snapped back into reality.

''Teya I-''

''How could you do this to Leah??!!'' Teya cried.

Brittany rolled her eyes.

''Leah, needs to accept that she'll never be up to his standards!!'' She snapped.

Teya looked at me like she expected me to say something. I couldn't find the right words.

''You know what!! I'm gonna find Leah and-''

''It's fine'' Came a voice. We all turned around sharply and stared at Leah. And through those blood-shot eyes, I saw hatred.
