CHAPTER 25

My office phone rang. I picked the call immediately. Julie was on the line. She had never called me on the office line and it was all strange. I tensed up. It wasn’t something good.
“Roy wants to see you darling.”
“What is the problem Julie? Is he okay? He has never called me through you and this is weird.”
“ Just come dear. He said it’s urgent.”
I got into the elevator and clutched the wall tightly. I could feel something was wrong. Roy rarely called through Julie. He always called me on my cell phone when he needed me. Julie buzzed me in and I half ran to where she was. She noticed how tensed I was and she took my hand and squeezed it assuringly.
“ I don’t know what the issue is Jackie. That slutty bitch got in and Roy called after sometime. He sounded so angry and I could hear things being thrown in the office. There was a lot of commotion in there.”
I shivered. Vickie being inside there and commotion! It didn’t sound good. I quickly opened the door and got in. Roy was standing up glaring at Vickie who was bundled on the floor. He looked so worked up. I ran to him and hugged him tightly.
“What is happening here baby? Are you hurt?”
I held him more tightly. He let go of me.
“ This slut came here and tried to seduce me. Look at the way she is dressed. I warned her but she didn’t hear. She went ahead to expose her ugly breasts to me and trying to grind herself on me. I tried pushing her away gently but she started telling me that she knew I wanted her and she would give herself to me freely. I ended up hitting her. I don’t hit women but hers is different. I even want to kill her.”
I hauled myself at him and held him tightly. Vickie was sobbing uncontrollably but I didn’t care about her. My anger rose and I ended up slapping her. Roy held me back and tightened his arms on me.
“Just let her be. I have dealt with her thoroughly.” He looked at Vickie and glared at her. “ Stand up and get out of my office before I do something that I might regret later.”
He bellowed and Vickie stood up quickly. She disgusted me. She had dressed in a slutty manner. Just to seduce my man the way she had done with Mike. It was unbelievable. I wasn’t ready to lose a man because of her again. Not Roy. Roy wrapped his arm on my waist and drew me to him.
“Something else before you leave Victoria. Look at Jackie and then look at yourself. Can you see any difference? She has beauty, brains and class. What about you? What do you have apart from that slutty body? Did you think you would succeed in seducing me and I would leave her for you the way that pig did? In your dreams. I deal with classy women not slutty bitches like you. And you should always be in your uniform when at work. If you try something like this I will have you fired. Now, get your slutty self out of my office before I wring your neck.”
I shivered at his words. Vickie got out quickly and she didn’t try turning back. He noticed my fear and pulled me to him in a tight hug. Tears clouded my eyes and I tried to blink them away but I couldn’t. I ended up sobbing in his arms. They were tears of fear.
“Hush baby! Why are you crying?”
“I’m scared of losing you. I'm not ready to. I love you so much.”
He sat on the couch and pulled me to sit on his laps. His fingers caressed my hair.
“Come on baby! You are not losing me to anyone. I love you and I don’t have eyes for other   women. I don’t even have that time. Just relax. I'm here to stay.”
He rubbed his lips on mine and kissed me.
“What else happened baby? What else did she try to do? Why are things all over the floor?”
“Relax love! Which question should I answer first? Okay, she tried kissing me and touching my manhood but I didn’t let her do it. I lost it and because I didn’t want to hurt her I ended up throwing things all over in anger. The next minute I was calling Julie and telling her that I needed you in my office. She got me all worked up and I couldn’t think of anything else. Why don’t I just sack her. It’s her third week here and she has tried this!”
“No baby. Don’t fire her. I want to make her pay for what she tried doing. She will regret it this time round. I won’t lose you to someone. Not this time round.” 
“Wow! Someone is so pissed off. I know Julie will help you do it. You two are evil.” He laughed and I relaxed in his embrace.
“Not more than you are!” I entangled my arms on his neck as we kissed passionately. All the fear was drowned away by the kiss. I disentangled myself from him. I was getting wet and I didn’t want to start making love with him in the office. That would have to wait for later. We would have all the time to ourselves.
“ I need to go back to my office baby. I don’t want to end up sacked for seducing my boss.” I gave him a seductive smile and he chuckled pulling me to him.
“I don’t mind your seduction. You can seduce me the whole day. That’s even better. I know you are itching to tell Julie what has happened. Once you are done with the gossip go to your office and take care of yourself for me. We are leaving early today. I want to go and rest.” I chuckled.
He gave me a peck and I went outside the office to tell Julie what had happened. Roy knew me so well and he knew I wouldn’t keep it away from Julie. I told Julie the whole story and she gasped and clapped her hands throughout.
“ Is that woman crazy? Did she think Roy would look at her even twice? We are going to make her pay for this.” I loved her for that. She was always there for me.
“ I will see you tomorrow dear. We are going home early today and I need to finish up on something before we leave.”
“It’s okay. You two need some rest. See you tomorrow.”
I went back to my office and held my head in my hands. It hadn’t hit me how scared I was to lose Roy. I was deep in thought when I heard a knock on the door. I looked up to see who it was. It was Vickie. Things couldn’t get any better.
“Yes Vickie. Come in! What do you want?” I was staring at her angrily.
“ I want to clean your office Jackie.”
“It’s madam for you. The other employees are allowed to call me Jackie but for you it’s madam.”
“ Okay madam. Will you excuse me?”
“Just go ahead and do your cleaning. I have a lot of work and I’m not getting out of here. Then I want you to arrange those files for me.”
“Yes madam! I will do that.” I smiled. I had her in the palm of my hands. I could do anything I wanted to do with her.
“And by the way Vickie, what made you seduce my man? Did you think he is like Mike? Did you think he would look at you twice? Look at yourself first then you can try again. Keep off my man. Stay away from him. It’s a warning.”
She shrugged and got to work. I got so buried on the computer and the next thing I heard was being lifted from the chair and someone kissing me. I didn’t need to be told who it was. He set me on the floor and looked at Vickie. I watched Vickie swallow with bitterness.
“What are you doing here?” he bellowed.
“I’m cleaning her office sir. “I'm almost done.” Sir! I smiled at the word.
“That can wait until tomorrow. I need some privacy with my wife.”
He pulled me to him and I chuckled at Vickie’s expression. She was baffled. She took the pail and left.
“Well Mrs. Roy, it’s time to go home.” His smile made me blush.
“Since when did I become Mrs. Roy?” I asked running my fingers on his chest through the white shirt that he had on.
“You didn’t know? Since you accepted to be mine. Someone is seducing me.” He was winking at me and it made me blush.
“Are you getting turned on?”
“Mmmh! That’s your intention? I will make you pay for this. You are giving me a boner already. Let’s go home. I can’t wait.”
I took my things and locked the office. The ladies at the reception got busy on seeing us. I smiled. They knew he was my man and no one would take him away from me.
