Betty's Point Of View-

FP has been mysteriously MIA at the moment, and I've been living at the bar.

"Two months doesn't make it any easier kev" I said on the phone to him, over the bath shaving my legs.

"Then I'll come to you babe, wine and Ronnie and Cheryl and shit movies and probably Toni" he begged.

"Okay, but your sharing a bed with Cheryl and toni" I laughed. I looked up at the time and it was already 5:30. I jumped out of the bath and called FP.

"Hey baby girl" he said suspiciously.

"What are you doing?" I asked him.

"Just some serpent stuff what's up?" He asked me.

"Just going to pick up a few things, you need anything for the trailer?" I asked him.

"Just some coffee" he said.

"I'll get you food too, you can't function on just coffee FP" I laughed and ended the call, shrugging on my long baggy t shirt that came down to about my mid thigh and some shorts underneath it. My slides and my jacket, heading to the store for supplies for the night.

I got FP some bread some milk, coffee, cereal, bananas, OJ, and a few microwave meals. On top of my groceries for the apartment too.

I drove to the back to the bar and knocked on the meeting room door and was greeted by hogeye.

"Hello baby girl" he said giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"Could you give these to FP for me please" I smiled and be nodded taking the bag.

"Your a good girl arent you!" He grinned and I just laughed as I made my way up to the apartment.

Much to my surprise everyone was already in there in theirs pyjamas and Cheryl was cooking in the kitchen, Toni sitting on the side watching her and Veronica and Kevin were sat on the porch smoking.

"Honeys, I'm home" I laughed jokingly.

They all shouted hi to me as I put the groceries away and we ate dinner before anything.

"So what's new" I said as well all sat around the couch and the coffee table.

"You haven't been to school in a while have you?" Toni said awkwardly.

"No why?" I said apprehensively.

"South side high is closing down" Toni sighed.

I nearly choked on my food.

"That's means?" I said not wanting to believe it.

"When!" Kevin chipped in.

"Starting Monday" Cheryl clarified.

"I'm coming" I said quietly.

"You are !" Everyone shouted with a giggle.

"Yeah, I'm going to make Riverdale high my bitch" I said.

"Jughead would of loved this" Toni said and Cheryl smacked her on the arm and Ronnie and Kevin just both looked at me.

"It's fine guys, you are aloud to say his name" I rolled my eyes.

"It's still a sore subject B, we don't want you to feel so upset all over again" Ronnie smiled.

"It's fine, he's gone and he's not coming back I get it okay?" I said storming out onto the porch to smoke.

I closed the door and dialled his number again. Living for the message at the end. I just rang it and rang it to listen to his voice, the chuckle, then his voice and then the chuckle.

I looked up at the sky as I exhaled the smoke, cigarettes always did taste better when they were around his lips first. Going through my phone and looking at the pictures of us didn't help either.

There was one of me him and hank at our Saturday detention. I was laying across Jugheads lap looking up at him and feeding his a red vine and he was laughing as he looked down at me, hank was in the corner because he took the picture, I cropped him out and set it as my wall paper. Not even feeling the tears streaming down my face.

Composing my self I walked back into the room and everybody went silent as I poured myself a glass of wine.

"So what's everyone wearing to school on Monday" I said wiping the tear off my face, I've learned that if you do your best to ignore the dull acheing pain of your heart it will go away. But I know that's a lie.

Monday.

Black knee high boots, high waisted black denim skirt, my bandeau top and my leather jacket. Lip gloss, cigarettes, a lighter, my keys, and phone.

Somewhere in the back of my mind I knew I wasn't finished with Riverdale High yet, and didn't even care about the things that people are going to say about me, I'm just there till I leave and then I'm going, to the city, to the country, to the beach, where ever alls I knew was that I'm cutting all ties with Riverdale. This town has brought me too much pain.

Throwing my leg over Jugheads motorcycle and steadying myself whilst I put on my helmet I took a deep breath ready to start my day. The last time it was my first day at a school I had Juggy with me, but I know he's watching over me.

I parked closest to the door, and got off the bike and all the familiar faces where staring open mouthed, probably at my transformation.

I walked through the halls to the student lounge to meet everyone and instead was met by midge klump and Ethel muggs.

"Omg look at Betty" midge laughed as I stood at the vending machine behind the couch where they were sitting, are they stupid? Do they think I can't hear them.

"She's gone off the rails a bit don't you think?" Ethel laughed.

I leaned over the couch behind them so me head was in between there's.

"That sort of happens to you when you boyfriend gets killed" I said sarcastically and they both looked shocked, even more so when I tipped my can of cola over midges head. Cheryl and sweet pea where watching.

"Betty what happened" Cheryl said.

"I don't like the Riverdale bitchiness, they're bark is much worse than their bite and they need to know gossiping and bullying is not okay" I said rolling my eyes.

"Detention on the first day baby girl" sweet pea laughed.

That's sort of my "serpent name" if you will. Like Jugheads is Jughead. Peas is sweet pea, mines baby girl.

"Okay well B, you can't do that to everyone okay? Let's go I made sure you were in all of my classes" Cheryl laughed shooting midge an evil glare before walking out.

I just walked out and when I turned back around I got a mental image of Jughead just standing beside me winking at the two girls, so that's exactly what I done. Winked at them, it infuriated them and made me giggle abit.
