Betty's Point Of View-

Summer was coming to end and it only meant one thing, saying good bye to all my friends, not seeing FP for a while, and college. Also my 18th birthday. It was today but I didn't tell anybody about it, it's not something I really wanted to celebrate. Yes it's a big deal, but I wanted my mom to be here, and Polly, and I know Jughead will make a big deal about it and I didn't want to ruin how happy he will be.

So I woke up, I made us breakfast, showered, got dressed and of course called Polly.

"Happy birthday!" She called through the phone.

"Keep your voice down polls, I'm not celebrating but thank you" I laughed, listening to Jugheads shower water running.

"Well that's my surprise ruined" she laughed.

"What surprise?" I asked, maybe this day wasn't really going as planned.

"Juniper and Dagwood really misses their aunt Betty, and I couldn't resist so..." she teased.

"So your sat in pops aren't you?" I rolled my eyes.

"With a steaming plate of pancakes and big birthday hug waiting for you?" She tried but I couldn't break my smile.

"And I would really like to meet your mans Betty, get your ass down here whilst the babies are asleep I miss your face" she cooed and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Okay, but don't you dare tell him it's my birthday" I grinned hanging up the phone.

"Jughead, were going to pops!" I yelled and I heard the water turn off straight away.

"Did I hear someone say pops?" I grinned pulling on his jeans.

"You sure did" I rolled my eyes throwing him the t shirt out of the wardrobe.

Jugheads Point Of View-

I'm going to see how long she lets me think I don't know it's her 18th birthday. Like I haven't heard Ronnie talk about her birthday for the past two months. And Cheryl buy her a very expensive pair of diamond ear rings. But she hasn't said anything, and now her sister as mysteriously rolled into town on the day of her birthday.

She must think I'm dumb.

I was sat holding a baby in the small booth at pops and Polly was sat across from me holding onto the other twin, I'm not sure which one I had, the big one I think.

"So Betty, any chance of you having a baby any time soon" Polly asked breaking the silence.

"No Polly I'm going to college and having a life first" Betty rolled her eyes grazing at her fries on her plate.

"But I want one" I teased snuggling into the baby, it was true, ever since I got confused and lost my head and bought that baby grow, it made me realise how I would love nothing more than a little baby Betty.

"Watch yourself Jones, you already get me in all types of trouble" Betty grinned.

"Oh you don't have to go to college Betty, what about the house and moms will and everything" Polly said and me and Betty both looked at each other and then to her.

"What are you talking about pol? What will? What house" Betty said taking the baby from me and laying him down in the double stroller, Polly getting up to do the same.

"Moms will, that you get when your 18, she's left us the house, a bunch of funds, all of that stuff, didn't you know?" Polly asked and I didn't take my eyes off of Betty.

"No I didn't, why didn't you tell me?" Betty said leaning back in her seat.

"I promised mom I wouldn't tell you until your 18" Polly shot back and I watched Betty's face drop, and I heard a grunt as if Betty just kicked her under the table.

"So what, you thought that this, something that may or may not keep me from going to college, affect my future? Wasn't important enough to just fucking tell me?" Betty fumed.

"Let's not fight Betty, it's not what I came here for, can we please just be happy that we can be a family again, we're the only ones left, and I'll be heart broken if this tears us apart" Polly said slamming her cup down.

"It's not going to tear us apart pol, but I came to see you, and you could've told me, it kind of makes me think your only visiting me because you want the house for you and the twins" Betty sighed sitting back in her seat.

"I want us to be a family again, me, you, the babies and jug-head" Polly smiled at us.

"Well isn't that a birthday gift and a half?" I smiled over at Betty giving her a kiss on her cheek.

Betty's Point Of View-

I sat twirling the ring on my finger, looking down at the rock.

"Well isn't that a birthday gift and a half?" Jughead smirked kissing my cheek.

"That's my que to leave, I'll see you back at the house? I mean if you ready" Polly said standing up and getting her wallet from the hood of the stroller and leaving twenty dollars on the table.

I stood up with her and she gave me a hug.

"Happy birthday babe" she grinned and I rolled my eyes at her, as soon as I heard the little bell jingle and I knew she was gone I turned on my heel and looked Jughead right in the eye.

"We are not celebrating" I said sitting back down.

"Betty, you got me a whole bunch of stuff for my birthday, and it was the best birthday I ever had, can't we just do something nice, how do you want to remember your 18th, sat in a booth at pops, we always do that" he sighed, sounding like the toddler he is.

"Jughead don't look at me like that, I just don't want to celebrate" I sighed back matching his tone.

"Please baby girl, we'll have fun today, I promise, only family, and then tomorrow we can sort out all the boring stuff, and I really need to give you my gift" he chuckled leaning back in his seat.

"Can I get drunk?" I smiled.

"It would be rude not to" he replied.

"Can I get dressed up all good and slutty" I grinned.

"Can't see why not" he laughed.

"Can you take me to Cheryl's, and please Jughead, no gifts" I gave in standing up and taking his hand out of the door.

"What do you mean no gifts, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard, I mean Betty what do I ever give you?" He sighed as he tossed me the helmet.

"Um, a big expensive rock on my finger, a roof over my head, a new family" I snarked throwing my leg over the bike.

"But that's like, nothing, let me do something nice baby girl" he laughed.

"Anything over $100 and you can take it back" I shouted in his ear over the engine.

"Fine" he groaned speeding off in the direction of Cheryl's house.
