"Louis! What are you doing?" I yell at the brown haired boy running in front of me.

"Come on Kate!" He says his blue eyes looking over his shoulder & meeting my grey ones. "I want to see the penguins!" He whines.

"Fine." I say skipping up to him.

"Lets go my lady." He says holding my hand and leading me to the animals. I giggled and felt the bubbles in my stomach at him calling me his lady. Even after a year I still get giddy. It took Louis two years to finally take our relationship out of the friend zone and the last year together has been the best of my life.

"Kate? Kate? Earth to Kate!" Lou says waving his hand in front of my face snapping me out of my trance.

"Sorry I was visiting Narnia in my head and decided not to invite you." I say sticking out my tongue at him.

"Ah how rude." He scoffs, pouting, and crossing his arms across his chest like a baby.

"Oh come on Mr. Todler lets go see the penguins." I laugh grabbing his hand and pleading him to the exhibit. I knew where the zoo like the back of my hand since I visited so much because of my love for animals. It was nice to take my little sister since she cared about animals to and since you don't have to have hearing to see the emotion the creatures have for each other.

"So love can you believe we've been together over a year?" Louis questions swinging our hands back and fourth between us.

"I know!" I fake groan tucking a piece of brown hair behind my ear. "Its felt like ages!"

"Woman I know that you don't wake up to see the sun shine but to see me smile." He kids shoving me playfully.

"How on earth did you figure out?" I ask sarcasm dripping from my voice.

"I just knew. Penguins!" Louis screamed and began running me to where they were dragging me along.

"There's Waldo and Becky, oohh and Jules is there with Amy." I said pointing at the different animals.

"And they say I'm the childish one." He says with an eye roll. "How can you even tell them apart?"

"I'm just cool like that." I say cockily.

"No your beautiful like that." He told me and on cue I began to blush just like he always has the ability to make me do.

"Shutup." I told him looking away from his gaze back at the exhibit.

"I mean it Kate." He said pulling my chin up so our eyes could meet. "You know youbare the most beautiful, caring, and funny girl I have ever met. I can honestly say I am completely and utterly in love with you. I was going to wait until tonight to do this but...." he says putting his hand in his pocket.

"What's are you talking abou-" I stop what I'm saying when louis pulls out a velvet box and crouches down on one knee.

"Kate you have made my life worth living. You really are the reason I wake up everyday. Will you please make me the happiest person alive and marry me?"

I stood there shell shocked with my mouth wide open gaping.

"Yes would be a good word to say right now." He says looking around at the people who were staring. I begin to smile and nod my head yes. "Yes!" He says jumping up with a fist pump before kissing me and placing the ring on my finger where it felt so right. He kissed the ring and said "Now it has to stay here on your finger for all of eternity just like you are going to stay in my heart for all of eternity."
