Jung Mi found Jungkook on the school roof. He was sitting on the floor against the wall. Jung Mi came and sat down next to him, giving him a drink.

Jung Mi: Was it you last night?

Jungkook nodded.

Jung Mi: Does it hurt a lot?
(She asked worried.)

Jungkook: No, it's okay. I'm used to it.

Jung Mi: You should join the school Taekwondo.

Jungkook: No, it's okay. I don't want to use violence on other people.

Jung Mi: No, I meant for self defense. So if next time they ever try to mess with you again, you can defend yourself.

Jungkook: Thank you for your worry. But I will think about it.

Jung Mi nodded.

Jung Mi: Is Taehyung bothering you?
(She asked worried.)

Jungkook: No.

Jung Mi: Then what's the deal with him. He acts like he knows you and like he's close with you.

Jungkook: Can we not talk about him.
(He said upset, as memories flashed back in his head.)

Then he stood up.

Jungkook: Let's go, or else we'll be late for class.

Later that night, as Jung Mi was walking home alone again, she felt that someone was following her. Was it those high school gang last night? Did they want to take revenge on her? She got scared, so again, she ran home really fast. When she got there, her father was in the kitchen making dinner.

Jung Mi's father: Are you alright? Why do you look like you were being chased? Is someone following my daughter?

Jung Mi: Anniyo (no) appa (dad)!
(She said as she went upstairs to her room.)

Jung Mi's father: Dinner is almost ready!
(He yelled upstairs.)

Jung Mi put down her backpack on her bed. And got out her phone. She was looking through her phone when she came across a photo.

It looked like they were very close. Then she scrolled down and looked at the comments.

"Isn't this Taehyung the hot bully, and Jungkook the nerd?"

Jung Mi was asking herself, "What's their relationship with each other?" "Why was Taehyung so mean to Jungkook?"

Jung Mi's father: Kang Jung Mi! Let's eat!
(He yelled up the stairs, which startled her. She put down her phone and went downstairs.)

Jung Mi's father: Is anyone bullying you or bothering you at school?
(He asked worried.)

Jung Mi: Anni. Wae?
(She lied.)

Jung Mi's father: Just because..

Jung Mi: Appa, don't worry. Why would anyone bully me. They wouldn't dare, because I'm your daughter.
(She said smiling at her father, as he smiled back.)

Jung Mi's father: Eat more my precious daughter.
(He said as he put another piece of meat on her plate, trying to hold back the tears from falling.)

The next day at school.

Taehyung saw Jung Mi walking to school. He went up to her.

Taehyung: Why do you never reply to my texts?

Jung Mi stopped walking and faced Taehyung.

Jung Mi: Taehyung, can we talk for a moment.

Jung Mi: Are you friends with Jungkook?

Taehyung: No. Why?

Then she took out her phone and showed Taehyung the photo she saw last night. Taehyung was a bit flustered. And he seemed a bit mad. He quickly looked away.

Taehyung: Why are you showing me this? WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS!!
(He said angry as he took her phone and grabbed her wrist harshly.)

Jung Mi was taken aback and didn't know what to do. She had never seen Taehyung like this before.

Jung Mi: Let go of me! Wae? What's wrong. You guys looked close in the photo. I was just asking.

Taehyung: Never show me this picture ever again, and never talk about him again in my face!
(He said as he threw her phone to her and let go of her wrist and walked away angrily.)

Jung Mi: What? What's wrong with him. Its just a photo.
(She said confused.)

Later on that day, Taehyung and Jungkook's photo became the talk of town. Everyone in school was talking about it. But no one knew exactly what was going on. Because none of them confessed about what this was about, and why they were avoiding each other.

That night, when Jung Mi was scrolling through her phone again. She found another photo of Taehyung and Jungkook together. They were wearing a different school uniform.

They seemed to be very close. But why did Taehyung transfer to another school before Jungkook? Jung Mi's head hurt. So she put down her phone and just decided to do her homework.

(He asked confused at the sudden apology.)
